Is there an article were they anounce this investigation of the possibility of revoking the status,?
Dutch is no problem, I read the language.
well, the title says it all.
the dutch government will look into the possibility to revoke the charity status of jw after they refused to cooperate in the child abuse scandal.. the government urged the jw to start an independent investigation into the jw child abuse issues, and after some stalling the jw flatout refused.
unfortunately the government can't really force them.. the chance that the charity status is actually revoked is very small as there appears to be no legal basis to do so, but right now the government and house of representatives are very annoyed with jw.. and in the meantime the da will continue their investigation based on the victims officially reporting abuse to the police..

Sorry, but is that all? Just announcing a video? 😕
hi guys!
i thought you guys would be able to clarify something for me.
according to jw’s what qualifies you to become an elder and who does the appointing?
What if he is not a husband at all? 😉
while enjoying one of my favourite snacks the other day, (hula hoops) i suddenly had this thought; if ever a metal nut is hard to loosen with a wrench, usually a a couple of sharp hits with a hammer is enough to break the grip of whatever is holding it - usually rust.
similarly, crunching on foods which can impart small shockwaves to a capped tooth could have the same effect and cause the hardened dental cement to fracture and loosen the crown.
(cap).
About teeth:
the woman has been deflecting the orange one's lies for quite sometime now as we all know, but after hearing her doing the same about the staff member who dissed mccain, i say she's an excellent candidate for the governing body, "nothing ever happened, we didn't say that, yes the number of 144,000 is growing every year and we accept that".
i mean, why look elsewhere, she would fit in perfectly.. btw, that's also what i say with all the drumpf supporters that show up at his rallies he holds whenever his sensitive, deflated ego needs a boost.
they cheer and rave just like the blind followers do at the circuit assemblies, they would make excellent jws, they have no problem buying into bullshit without putting any thought into anything that's being said..
Where is the time we had serious topics?
hey guys, i'm working on a paper about exploitation amongst jehovah's witnesses ( i'm also preparing a book about jehovah's witnesses and interaction ritual theory, and another paper about jehovah's witnesses and discrimination against women).
i'm trying to calculate as exact figures as i can concerning how much bethelites are paid.
does anyone know the monthly stipend as of now?
I proper nomenclature used to be allowance...that is to say untill 1999 when I left ...

what are the psychological effects of losing your religion?.
bps research digest.
Thanks nice article.
LongHairGal you are making a good point in my opinion. There must be, beside different personalities, a difference in the fact that one grew up as a JW or not, and even how fanatic the parents were.

In 1999 the allowance was $200,00 per person, in the USA, in other countries it was higher or lower. as missionaries (the forgetting group but most exploited sometimes), we started with $44,00 in 1991. We were 20+ missionaries in the country. Some of us complained about it and the answer was that they needed all the money for the building of the branch facilities. Anyway, when we left to work at the HQ it was around $150,00 in local currency of course. A strange thing is that we received "travelmoney" when we left from our foreign assignment to Brooklyn. $70,00 on top of the ticket expenses.
i went on line looking for old jw songs and some of them were pretty good and some were just awful!.
did you ever like any of those songs?
.
I hate and hated singing and I always felt like a retarded japanese karaoke singer.
this may be a plot point in a novel i'm working on.
will a judicial committee take testimony from a df'd or da person?
i could see them wanting to get dirt from any possible source, on the other hand i can picture somebody saying "he's df'd everything he says will be a lie.
I was once on an appeal-committee where the original committee had df a brother based on the testimony of a sister and her unbaptized husband who visited the meetings. We came to the conclusion that df was not legal als the KS book ( or some letter from the branch or publication, I cant remember, it is 22 years ago), stated that testimony had to be from two baptized publishers.
