  even when i was a jw, i enjoyed hearing holiday music.

  some of it is religious, some of it is just "holiday cheer" music.

  but it's fun to listen to, and sometimes those songs just stick in your head.. do you have any particular favorites this time of year?.

  The Isaiah book?s?

  what was the point of this book?

  what did we learn?

  we studied two books, 700+ pages, on the 66 chapters of isaiah, for 3 years, and what was learned?

  I think most Witnesses were bored silly by these two books. Lets be honest, most of Isaiah is just rambling nonsense and endless repetition. It can be interpreted in all manner of ways, but the ridiculous supposed typical and antitypical fulfilments of these scriptures as interpreted by the writing department of the Watchtower Society is an insult to anyones inteligence.

  ive had it for two days now, and so far so good.

  the only draw back is that iespell doesnt work on it.

  I've used Firebird. Excellent browser. The Mozilla Foundation are good people, and they produce fine products, with help from thousands of enthusiasts all over the world. If you use JW forum you will find that you can edit and format posts and insert smilies there with Firebird - I'm sure Simon is working on doing the same here eventually.

  i have been writing some stuff about my jw-life to friends, and i have elton john - canddle in the wind on ... and okay i am feeling a bit mooshy and sobby-ish

  so, i just ran downstairs, and on my last step of the stairs, i looked into my living room, which was entirely dark, except for my christmas tree.

  and it just struck me, it is so darned beautiful.

  this represented a change in his previous instructions to the jury that they should return a unanimous verdict.

  it seems that perhaps 1 or 2 jurors were refusing to accede to the majority view and so this new instruction was intended to overcome this 'obstacle' in the interests of achieving a verdict.

  Sadly, the lurid sensationalism of the British media over this case was utterly disgraceful. Salaciously glorying in the horror, whilst at the same time trampling all over the bruised humanity of all those involved. And of course there were the grizzly tourists that descended upon Soham, supposedly to pay their ?respects?.

  I found the culprit that messed up my computer

  yesterday i posted that my computer was all messed up and that simon had helped me to eliminate the problem.. well, now i know what the culprit was.

  you know those cute little smileys many of us have downloaded and are using to add to our posts?

  the program that detects problems in your computer, eliminated that one.
