Never had a double life really. Started the fade late in life.(20's) Was kinda forced out due to holier than thou elders wives, meddling in affairs that were none of theirs. I was a goody two shoes witness son of a powerful elder, so I mostly narced out the others who had double lives.

To quote a great man, when he spoke on religion: " There's an INVISIBLE MAN...LIVING IN THE SKY...who watches every thing you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten special things that he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish where he will send to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry for ever and ever 'til the end of time...but he loves you."

Not with Ouija boards. The wife and I dove into the other witness no-no this past year. We have weekly Friday and Saturday night drunk fests Dungeons and Dragons play nights with our neighbours. Both, the Ouija and D&D are just games. Nothing serious.

Oddly enough, I have had vivid dreams about going back just recently as well. Mine always revolves around the work I did with the building committee, so I am always doing some sort of free skilled labour. Just last night, I was helping build the WBTS railroad lines. (odd I know) Had to hurry and get through the phase we were doing, because I had the #4 talk last night and could not miss it. )))Shudders(((

As a born-in approaching his 40s I still find I'm trying to rid myself of the "magic carpet ride to Paradise" mindset. Or as my sister says "I find I keep waiting for my life to begin."
I am so with you on this one. I have been out since about 20 (+ or -) years old. I am 34 now, and I still have this SAME mentality. I think your sister is on to something. I am in the same boat. This blog post is a real eye opener. Thanks for the share.

Songs that remind you of your Mum . . .
by nicolaou ini remember my mum standing at the kitchen sink preparing little cypriot meat patties in a beat up enamel dish.
there was a window overlooking the small garden where me and my brother and sisters used to play (wonderful, wonderful times before the cult got its tentacles into our family).. my mum used to sing lots of tunes but this lynn anderson song is the one i remember .
actually choking up a little .

Fox News would be first on my list. They are "fair and balanced."
For early morning, try Fox and Friends.
For the evening, listen to O'Reilly and Hannity.
You will be surprised how fair and balanced they are.
Rub a Dub
I am not in the least trying to start a flame war, but I have to ask: Is this for real or is this satire?
In the end to each their own. I made a vow to NOT go to any news sites or watch any TV news until summer is over, after these Canadian elections were over. All the doom and gloom and left and right leaning spin in addition to all the filtered down shite corporate "news" has broken me and I refuse to devote any more time to negativity.

Meh. I let my kids get a cat in the last year and a half. That damn thing was outside me sons window as a tiny disheveled kitten near the end of Summer. Here in Canada, fall and cold comes in quick and hard, rarely is there a "transition" period, and for some odd and very rare reason, I felt bad for this thing. Even the wife asked if I got knocked in the head. I am still not an animal lover per se. I just am not a monster and I do not wish any ill will on defenceless people or creatures, but I am still, meh. One time, my ex fiance had a dog that got hit by a car and was pretty torn up. Her whole family was crying and emotional. I had to do what I had to do to end the suffering. Whilst they were all in the house, I took the thing back to the back part of their lot, and put a 9mm slug into its head. I did not feel any sort of remorse or guilt, because I ended an irreversable suffering. I guess I am neutral on the whole thing.

If One More Person Calls Me "Boo" LOL
by PublishingCult inseems to be the trend today to call another, a friend or loved one, "boo".
it was cute about five years ago when it was seldom used.. it's old, it's overdone, it's done by everyone, it should stop now.
find a new pet name you damned boo-hooers .

Even about 10 years ago this was the "in" thing to do. I mean absolutely no offence to anyone, but back then it was the african american's who used it prolifically. All the time, "Come here Boo". "Heres your cheque Boo". "Hey Boo, could you".......etc. So I see it is making a comeback. I am convinced there are no new fads, just recycled old ones.
