  Why Do Some People Who Know Better Remain "In The Truth"?

  over the years, i would wonder why brother smarter than most would stay in a false religion.

  i've spoken to many jws who have confided in me their doubts.

  you would think, that they would be eager to get out, knowing what they know....but for some reason they stay and suck it up and continue the charade.. i can understand if a person decides to stay for family and because of not wanting to be shunned.....but how do they still, in good conscience, promote the "truth", when in fact they know it's all bullshit?.

  unfortunately for some....if you're a guy...and your JW wife is a stay at home mom...and you have 3 kids... Imagine what child support would be like b/c eventually you would become divorced. Few cases end with just the husband being shunned by everyone while she sticks with...but many women these days use it as an excuse to separate (spiritual danger) and pray that you give in to fornication so that they are free to marry a good spiritual brother.

  Then you have your kids in a cult under the "say so" of some guy that's all for the Cult. Thus eventually your own kids would end up shunning you.

  Brother with "Apostate Leaning" not kicked out yet?...

  a few sundays ago, i noticed a brother who rarely comes to the hall anymore (my attendance is sketchy anyway) even though his wife still does.

  he had a full on goatee, and his wife has expressed to other sisters that he's just "trusting in the bible and not the organization so much".

  the elders must know of this b/c his father-n-law is an elder in our congregation.

  Well, my dad is a Cong. Overseer (Presiding)...and I'm pretty sure that if not already, soon there will be action taken against those that are "inactive" and refuse to go in field service if nothing serious is holding them back. A Circ. Overseer in a talk once asked "Is overtime on your job worth eternal life in Paradise?" or something like that.

  The brothers had approched a friend of mine about his views but he chickened out and said that he understood that we are all imperfected, GB included...but said he would not let his doubts steer him away from "jehovah's organization". He said the brother then used King Saul as an example and said "Even though David was on the run from him, and had every right in our eyes to go against Saul...he understood that Saul was ANOINTED BY JEHOVAH...thus leaving things in Jehovah's hands is best and we should wait on him to make things better and to understand things clearer in time."

  I heard that and though..."WOW! they've found a way to twist scripture to their benefit again!"

  I don't know what the hell is going on. Especially with the articles that have come out about "apostates" I thought he was sure to be kicked out sooner than later. Guess I was wrong. I like that! Hopefully he can make it out with his family and not suffer as much loss as most do. I think his parents and family are "worldly".

  A few Sundays ago, I noticed a brother who rarely comes to the Hall anymore (my attendance is sketchy anyway) even though his wife still does. The Elders must know of this b/c his Father-n-Law is an Elder in our Congregation. So...I'm wondering "WTF is up?!" Not that I wish the brother to be shunned. I still talk to him when I see him. But I haven't let him know that I'm of the conscious class myself. Yet I wonder how he's making it thru without being DF'd.

  Anyone know of a similar situation in their area?

  shocking information near the bottom of this report from a watchtower lawyer definding the organization in australian courts.focus on the information under the heading: "the faithful and discreet slave".

  quite the shocker... the society's lawyer statesthere is no true physical body of people, but only a theological arrangement.

  Are there any transcripts of this hearing?? This would appear as heresay to most JWs. Any video footage of them saying there is no FDS? If not...relaying this to a witness (from an apostate) is moot.

  GB Member Rejects Nuremberg Morality

  i have been told that samuel herd gave a talk at the annual meeting that continues a specific rejection of the nuremberg standard within the organization.

  by citing the example of gideon, he taught that if we obey a foolish or wrong command in jehovah's organization, we are not blamed by jehovah.

  this continues and intensifies the arrogant (and yes, satanic) idea that 'we can't be wrong'.

  That's a fool-ass notion considering that in the Bible, it speaks of the "lesser" punishment for those who follow the wicked slave. their portion will be less...but still a portion dealt out nontheless.

  This is why the ORG cannot exist for more than 5 more years (in my opinion). They are desperately trying to keep members. They will be exposed soon for what they really are, and most (it'll never be ALL) will finally WAKE UP.

  Times are so hard now (economically) that people are more concerned with shelter and food than wasting $20 in gas every week on going to meetings and F.S. alone. One night I went to a meeting and there were 14 members connected by phone. NO ONE CARES ANYMORE!!!!!! WTBTS is PLAYED OUT!

  we had an elder that was hung up on mens haircuts he had a real thing about how short mens hair should be and even told one bro off for parting his hair down the middle.. even told one bro to shave off his sideburns.. a c.o who was paronoid about sound always telling the bro in charge off.. .

  a d.o who orded the attendants to remove crying babys from assemblys on more than a few occations...hans hubler for those that know him..

  We had one C.O. that was always worried about how sisters were dressed and the length and placement of "slits" in dresses or skirts. I guess he was warring with the fleshly desires since his wife dressed like Ms. Garrett (Facts of Life). hahahahaa

  Yeah I just thought how funny it is that we hear of those who struggled with their "worldly" family members when going to the meetings. But witness do the same to you when you start learning the REAL TRUTH about "THE TRUTH"

  You find out that your WORDLY FRIENDS AND FAMILY are the only REAL ones you've ever had.
