  when i come to this forum and read the topics of the day, it disturbs me that some always have objections and comments that are negative.

  what source of encouragement is there when one breaks down the story of others?

  what's your personal gain, what's the satisfaction?

  jamiebower, the elders lodge is an old folks residence. They are not mental patients just older peole who's families will not care for them. Screw the age is their attitude.

  thetrueone, I call you kid because I have 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, OK kid, you still take offense? Are you getting the drift of my message? My posts is not about my designs to attract me but to open a forum discussion that we can feel comfortable and different to EXPRESS our thoughts and feelings. Why do we attack instead of asking questions? Why must we come to quick judgment of others, why?

  What is about people who can't read in between the lines? Have I attacked or insulted anyone in my replys? Why should I? What satisfaction and pleasure would I derive from such conduct?

  Some may think I was never a witness and I don't understand their situation, Hmmmmm, think again.

  leavingwt, do you think I don't have wounds? I have serious deep wounds. I disagree about you saying that "Inside the KH, we were encouraged to only say positive things." In my years in the witness program I never heard of such a thing. What do we do with our wounds? We treat them! How, by being encouraging and helpful to others and ourselves, we need such healing, if not, this wound will never heal. We need to move on in life. The question is, do we want to move on in life? Hey kid, it's our choice.

  I have a fleshly older brother (not a witness) and when we visit our aging mother (95) in an elders lodge, she has the same old habit of telling him/us what to do and he's 74! When he visits my mother, he comes out of the elders lodge more depressed than when he came in. His face turns red and he's upset! This mother of ours is a witness! Encouragement? No, ALWAYS criticism. She's been on the witness program for over 60 years! My fleshly brothers were never witnesses and they can't understand her behaviour.

  Leaving wt, am I confusing the internet with K.H.? I haven't been to the hall in ages and I have no interest in attending their meetings, thanks for the encouragement.

By the way, how do you feel? Explain to me, what's the objection in being kind and understanding to others free speech and thought?

  This past weekend I lost my mom

  the cancer finally got to her and now my sisters and i are left without our mother.

  we take comfort only in knowing that she is no longer in pain.

  how do people move on from such a massive loss?.
