I noted Dean Bourne listed by more than a few, I grew up with them, they stayed in our home when he was a CO, went to the same KH for several years. He was a good friend of my dad. Good man, large heart, riveting speaker. -

Ha ha, when I was an MS I was encouraged to sign up for RBC, the recruiter that hounded me kept repeating the term "sacred service" over and over when I said I still wanted to allow time for field ministry while on RBC, he wouldn't come right out and say it, but he was trying to convey the idea via "coded language" that time spent on RBC could be counted on my time slip. That's when I started allowing myself to count time getting ready for the "recruiting work" all thru breaks and until I got home. Counting time became just a monthly entry to keep status as an MS to me. -

The Witnesses Are Really Trying Hard To Get Me Back In
by minimus inat my mom's bed side all i see is either jw family or friends making a concerted effort to have me return to their fold.
evidentlyy, my mom has encouraged this and i'm a trapped prisoner, as they do their best to have me come back.
it's bad enough that i have to endure my mom's dying, now i have to be bombarded with this bs..

This may be your golden opportunity! My dad died in 2011 after heart surgery and his staunch refusal of blood that he desperately needed. Without going into too much detail he basically lost all blood during surgery and had such low hemoglobin they wouldn't even draw blood for a sample to run tests to find out why some things weren't working how they should.
He never made it out of intensive care.
I was shaken to the point of several nervous breakdowns after and the experience was the final straw that woke me completely.
I used my mental state to first go inactive, then quit as an MS, then quit meetings altogether.
I am left alone largely because I used my time of grief as a stepping stone to inactivity.
I was genuinely uber distraught but I think now I am viewed as still fragile but I can genuinely say I am very content, very at peace, much happier not being part of the WT cult, very comfortable with calling the WT a cult where as early on I was hesitant to go that far.
Maybe my point is you can use the loss to keep elders and others away from you and their harassment.
At one point I went as far as filing a police report for harassment on two elders that came knocking two days in a row. They don't dare come ask me to meet with them any longer.
Maybe you could use same tactics?
Wish you all my best with what your enduring. Take care!

Has anyone thought of the spin that the "society" will put on bethel layoffs?
by Lied2NoMore infirst, how about a joke?.
what do you call someone who just turned apostate?.
im thinking sometime in the future the society will put a spin on what is happening similar to what has been done in the past.. they will say apostasy once again reared its ugly head in the organization and layoffs was the only way to "cleanse" the organization.. once disgruntled ones begin to use their voice, they will be forced to strike back with some spin to make all those who have the guts to complain look like they were the problem.. good theory huh?.

I was sort of projecting farther into the future, maybe a decade passes, or twenty years into the future, no Armageddon, some will look back and wonder, maybe ask for explanations from the society, once again another publication release is needed to cleanse the WT history.
The GB has to know now that not all around them are loyal, with the release of their sacred announcement letter for all to see on the Internet around the globe before anyone was supposed to hear the official decree.
There has to be a bit of paranoia, maybe even GB members are looking suspiciously at each other.
Dunno, just speculating. Liars have to keep lying to make the lies become truth.

RE: Appropriate attire for graduation ceremony
by Lied2NoMore inwill the branch send out a letter to address appropriate attire for the worldwide graduation from .
"the school that no one ever graduates from"?.
i have been thinking of the endless ways this new direction for the tms termination screams for criticism.. i am sure a quick publication search will reveal several references gushing at how great of an invention the tms was, how it has benefitted jw's, you know, gush, gush, greatest thing since sliced bread, blah, blah, blah.... i'm not interesting in looking at the moment, but wasn't knorr credited with its invention and rollout?.

I have prophesied......so let it be written, so let it be done.....
Several sources have come out with the reveal, I'm trusting the info is reliable, so far, I have found "the truth" only comes from an apostate source, if it's not true, this will mark the first time since my awakening that an apostate source has spread falsehoods.
I see nothing but lies spewing from the Watchtower, apostates are winning according to my scorecard!

If he was alive now, (well, according to the Watchtower he is alive in heaven of course) how would he feel if the present bunch of buffoons, AKA: Governing Body, scrapped his pet project?
Would that not have caused a great stir at the top to the extent that some would have been kicked to the curb and defamed? (Think apostasy at the branch)
I'm sure, or rather, I sure hope one of our famed YouTube activist channels make a video addressing the many ways this SHOULD be criticized. I know if I had my own activist channel at the moment I would be hard at work filming.
For now I'm just playing with it, I'm asking my dub wife and friends if they would be relieved if they never had to give another talk again.
I'm asking if they would be happy if they didn't have so many magazines to read every month.
I'm asking if they have heard that all KH building has ceased and why if true this is happening?
I'm asking if Bethel still needs workers right now and is there any reason for any to be sent home?
I just looked at FB and searched Theocratic Ministry School, and sure enough a group exists, I'm tempted to join and post questions like "would you be relived if you didn't have to give any more talks"?
"How many have graduated from the school, and will any graduate soon"?
Oh boy, this sure could be fun for the next few months!

If Someone Touches Woman’s Breast and Covers it up…
by John Aquila inone of the elders schools i attended, we dealt with a person who touched a girls breast and covered it up and kept it secret until it was revealed through a source.
the instructor first laid the ground work for a guilt trip.
he read this scripture;.

So what about me, the guy with freakishly large hands, I just can't help the fact that it gets totally covered up when I touch a woman's breast!
I mean when I touch even a DD, the gal looks down and wonders where it went!

Nine Seconds that says it all. Have these elders any shame?
by Wasanelder Once inwhat can i add?
this says it all.. elder on stand is mute till prompted.. .
i guess i could encourage you to watch to the end and a guest commentary, lol..

It's a very good point that honestly I never thought of, pedophiles don't have to limit their targeting to just JW kids, it could be anybody! JW or not!
Thats why the governing buffoons NEED to step up and shut down this wreckless stance they have taken and start telling elders they MUST report all cases to those who can take legal action.
yes I know,.....they won't

Should I hit send button as is? Change? Or just hit delete?
by Lied2NoMore inso after being deleted because of my comment on her instagram post by my sister-in-law i got a text from her stating she didn't want a debate on instagram and the scripture i posted would not apply to satan, they are worried about me, go see elders, return to jehovah, or else you won't get life, etc etc.... i'm ready to respond with the following reply:.
so....hit send?
make changes?
-
Lied2NoMore
I did some editing after taking in all your viewpoints, still have not sent a reply, but after an edit and making some new points I almost hit send because it seemed much softer and I took out the GB critical stuff.
Still waiting..... Trying to fight the urge to send
Thanks for all the comments!
