  JC letter of invitation. Do they always get signed?

  i was just shown a jc letter from a friend and i noticed that the bottom of it was signed by tree elders.

  the letter specifically stated that it was an invitation to a "judicial committee" due to the brother having a marital relationship that was not aligned with bible principles.. i am asking because i remember reading experiences of brothers who demanded their jc be arranged over certified mail with signed letters to which elders refused to do.

  since they could not get this done the matter was dropped and no dfing ever happened.

  My question would be, “what provision does the Bible give for you to conduct an inquiry of my lifestyle or actions? If the Bible says there is some sort of penalty for a lifestyle or action that God himself disapproves of and will deal deal with in his own due time, and I accept such consequences, isn’t that enough?”

  ”Do you, by taking such an action feel that you are acting on God’s behalf? If I shoot someone for driving drunk, is that justified for me to do in the eyes of the law?

  “Would I be thanked or recognized by the secular authorities for taking the law into my own hands, or would they view my actions as criminal and unjustified?”

  MAYBE even the most stupid or indoctrinated elder would have to pause to think?

  Or not......

  “who really is the faithful and discreet* slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time?

  - matthew 24:45. let's be honest, the faithful and discreet slave logically cannot refer to any and every christian.

  this is not merely an encouragement for all christians to prove themselves faithful and discreet.

  If the bible is such nonsense that it requires exhaustive speculative interpretation as many religions and readers have done, including cults like the WTBTS, then you have to let yourself view it as a highly flawed document from years of formative musings from those who seek to control others. Let yourself go forward and study the flaws of the bible, let yourself see it.

  God thinks a book is soooooo important for humans he preserves it for centuries.

  God made humans to only last 70 to 80 years......what a dumbass.

  Yup I can vouch for those "massaged" experiences, I was asked to do the same thing for one I was asked to do, I got thunderous applause after I gave my experience at the convention, but it was only 75% truthful. The CO was there at the KH to hear my original experience in practice but he quickly asked it to be modified so it fit the part. I know others I know quite well who told unbelievably false, completely fabricated experiences, and I know a family was "assembled" for a part, one couple had two girls from separate families pose as their daughters for a demo, one was (gasp) unbaptized which is unheard of for someone to have a part on convention.

  I used to go to that KH when I was in late teens. It's the "go to" KH when large crowds are expected at a funeral because the center wall that separates the two congregations can be opened up.

  Just wondering who on this board has a spouse that is fully in and your awake?

  a spouse that is fully brain doogled in and you are awake to ttatt.. without going into serious detail and no names are given.

  i would like to possible talk with one of you all, it's just so helpful to communicate with someone in the same situation as me.. i am located in the southwest united states..

  Well I'm 6'5" and built like a brick sh*thouse, i own intimidation, LOL!

  I know I'll never be called for JC because even when I was regular elders would pee down their leg shaking my hand and beg me not to squeeze too hard and comment how they hoped I was "on their side."

  Yup that's me, fully awake, spouse more active to meetings than ever before, even when I was MS, I was always prodding her to attend, now she rarely misses, she knows full well how I feel about the cult, full well how much damage I would do if ever locked in a room for a JC with 3 elders, thankfully she covers for me as needed
