I emailed the person who wrote the article and gave her the Silent Lambs information. Whoever said that publicity is important is correct. The more people who learn of this outrage, the better. I don't know if Danny will read this, but he said to me "All that is needed for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." I would like to alter that as I remember it in high school. "All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for ENOUGH good men to do nothing." If all of us do something, tell someone, email someone, we start becoming "enough good men" and then the WT will die for good. I hope I live long enough to see Brooklyn shut down, JW's outlawed in the USA, and if any of them are found working underground, that may be a good place to make sure they stay, UNDERGROUND. The WT can NEVER win. There are 6 Billion people who are NOT JW's, and 6 Million who are. That's one thousand to one odds. They may have a lot of money, but the world has more. For every site they close down, ten will pop up in their place and 999 sites will still have been untouched. Every time they close a site, they create untold public relations nightmares. The word is spreading about these perverts and they can't stop it. Their own members are quitting in droves. Their rates of growth are level or going down in lands with the Internet, thus showing that the Internet IS very effective. More and more people are taking their stories to the media. The media will crucify them soon if they don't stop their arrogant nonsense. They can't say "we never said that" when their own books are out there contradicting their current teachings. They cannot find every last book they published from the year 1880 until now. They will just tighten their control over whomever is stupid enough to remain as a JW and DF more people. Remember, of all the people alive today who were ever baptized or came close to getting baptized, far more are NOT currently "publishers" than ARE. That means that if you take all the people who ever learned enough about the WT to make any type of intelligent decision, the majority said NO!!! Whether by being DF'd, quitting, DA's, postponing baptism indefinitely, whatever. It doesn't matter. And these people are all telling their friends, family, and the media what they know about the WT. The dam is breaking rapidly and they can't hold back the water any longer. There may be a small pool of water behind the broken dam ten years from now when it's all over, but that's all they'll have, a small group of diehards. It's like a pyramid scheme. Eventually everyone on earth will have been a JW and quit or heard their garbage and said NO WAY. In either case, they'll run out of people to witness to and that will be that. I'm sorry about the quotes site going down. I am a network engineer and would appreciate it if anyone knows a source for what he had on the site. My email is [email protected] If any of you remember, my daughter was raped at 9 years old by a pedophile "brother" known to them. I have a degree in psychology and am writing a book on the effects of the WT's policies on people, specializing in child abuse and family breakdown. (My wife left me just because I quit the WT and is now divorcing me.) I'm afraid this is the last straw. I will be going public soon and am already arranging media coverage. I post on Silent Lambs as M.A.N. This lawsuit WILL be in my book. I have suggested in the past how we all can help destroy the WT for good. Now it's time to do so. When it becomes a crime to publish on the Internet the same material that the WT was trying to ram down the public's throats for decades, then I've had enough. Why would the WT lie about this? Why do they lie about ANYTHING?? Psychologically, it's how cults operate. They cannot tell the truth for several reasons. They don't HAVE the truth, so they can't share it. They don't KNOW the truth, so they can't explain it. They are incapable of UNDERSTANDING the truth, so it's useless to speak with them. But one of the main reasons is that if they told the truth, JW's would leave faster than they are now. The WT uses reasoning like the kind elder who posted the meeting notes here said about the UN scandal: In effect, if someone asks you, a JW, about the UN, ask, "Does that sound reasonable?" See how they side-stepped the question? I don't give a damn how it sounds. The issue is: "DID YOU DO IT, YES OR NO??" If the Internet telling the truth is causing a loss of JW's and the dam IS beginning to break, what do you think would happen if the WT itself told the rank and file what the Internet is trying to tell them? They demonize the Internet because it's the only place the truth about the WT can be found. They lie about their past, they lie in their literature about what they printed in their literature. Any organization that has books from decades apart, that a person can put down on a table and compare and see a black and white lie, and still insists that they either didn't print the older book, or the reader is misunderstanding it, or it's new light, or "you're an apostate because you see the man behind the curtain", is too far gone mentally to attempt to ask them to think. They can't think, they are in a CULT. They gave up the ability, no, rather the desire to think, when they got baptized. And they won't allow anyone in the WT to think either. I am a network engineer. The worst way to hurt the WT is to post to all the newsgroups you can access from your ISP. Email everyone on your list and ask them to do the same. Scan and email local articles on WT child abuse. Park outside a KH with a big red sign warning everyone that they harbor child molesters. Guaranteed to attract the neighbors and local news media, possibly the police if the *sshole elders call them. BAD publicity for the JW KH, right? The Internet is the "great equalizer", just like a gun was years ago and still is. But any weapon is only good if used. Thank you Danny Hazzard (sp? sorry) for all that you do, as well as Randy. I am writing a book about my 9 year old child's rape. I first got a BA in Psychology so that I'd be taken seriously. I also maintained a GPA of 4.0. Work every angle. Ask the local "community cable channel" to allow you access and tell your story. The only things I see bringing the WT down is enough lawsuits to bankrupt them and enough airing of their dirty laundry and bad publicity. No one can survive what they've done if it all came out. We outnumber them. We don't need millions of dollars. We have computers, our TRUE stories, and the fact that many householders hate JW's anyway. This is truly sad. How many generations of people do we have to see growing old and having no pensions (like me) who were told we wouldn't need them. I wish it were possible to sue the WT and win in court to collect all the money every single person would have received had they gone to college, earned more than they do now at McDonald's, and also the amount for a decent pension (let's not forget medical coverage). Why would they seek NOT to have to testify? There should be no attempt to claim "clergy confidentiality" because JW's HAVE NO CLERGY, REMEMBER??? We are all one big happy family of EQUALS. This is why all the elders know who the pedophiles are so they can keep THEIR kids away from the perverts, but the rest of the sheep know nothing because "it's not their business" or "we're working with him to help him turn his life around". I have a degree in psychology. Less than one in 10,000 pedophiles EVER stop doing it after being caught or counseled. One out of six women will be sexually molested before their eighteenth birthday. And 90 to 95% of all victims will be molested by someone they know well: father, brother, uncle, elder, other JW, etc. Mothers who are JW's will even cover it up and/or allow it to continue because they want to protect their husband. What sickos! If the elders agree to tell the cops what the victim told them (as if the victim needs their permission or help, can't the victim go to the cops on their own?), then why can't those spineless bastards tell the police what the MOLESTER told them. Why don't the elders tell the congregation? They tell each other, don't they? I guess the elder's kids are more precious to Jehovah than the other children. Funny, I don't think Jesus felt that way, did he? I don't know if any JW with half a brain (and that's about all they have, they must share) should consider running to a kingdom hall at Armageddon, if God ever decides to regain his senses and end the slaughter of our innocent children. By all rights, the hall should be the first place destroyed by God, the buildings are worthless and so are half the people who go there.
