Actually, sisters were used extensively 40 years ago, especially in rural areas. Many smaller congregations had very few men at all, much less servants. Sisters did the accounts, and "manned" the literature/magazine counter. There were the usual articles on occasion about how they were under the "headship" of some male, even if it was the CO who visited a few times a year. In reality some of the sisters knew more about how to run the congregation than any male did. Which isn't difficult to believe.

If people stay in the WT now, they are god damn idiots. There is a limit to how much stupidity people should be allowed to display. What's to stop them from doing a second "overlap" when it's 2060 or so?
The Awake or WT mag will have a picture of Franz posing with a baby born in 1990. Then Franz dies and the baby becomes 80 years old. Then that baby poses with a newborn in 2070 and then dies. This pattern can be used for 5,000 years. And although we won't be here to see it, I bet the yet unborn GB will consider it carefully.
If you WT lurkers remain in this baby-raping cult, you will burn for it. You already will die for the child abuse. Now you can die for being "liars" which Revelation clearly states will die during God's judgment.

Of all the perverted and mentally deranged things I've seen the WT say, their lament about not being able to kill non-believers is the worst. What about the verse to love your enemy? What about "how you judge others will be done to you"? What if they end up being wrong and on Judgment Day, THEY are on their knees, needing clean underwear, and begging for their miserable worthless lives?
Many of US could make the same complaint. How about those of us whose children were molested by known pedophiles? I've had JW ELDERS as well as cops tell me that if their child was molested, they'd kill the pervert even if they went to jail for it for life.
In Florida, guns are common. I can sit here and write, "God damn it, I wish it was 150 years ago and I was here or out West and found my child was molested. I'm going to shoot the animal who did that to her." I wonder how the WT would like that? When some regretted that the 2 planes didn't miss the WTC on 9-11 and hit Bethel instead, JW's had a fit. Yet, nicer people died that day in the WTC than would have died at Bethel. I watched those towers burn in person. Where do you think I'd have preferred they hit?? And why not? Is it not exactly what the WT is saying about not being able to say all opposers killed? So why can't I hope a huge earthquake kills them all??
To JW lurkers. YOU DO NOT OWN THE EARTH. YOU DON'T OWN THE UNIVERSE. YOUR GOD IS INSANE IF HE'S USING THE WT TO DO HIS WORK. I'd rather die than serve your god IF he is exactly like you say he is. And I sure as hell don't want to live forever with you jackasses.

I remember this case from a few years ago. That baby-faced punk in the middle must be a new elder. What a jerkoff. I heard that a JW down here in Florida threatened an ex-JW if he didn't stop saying things against the WT. Like that scares anyone.
Why do JW's like to fight about their cult? That's not Christian at all. These people have serious mental problems. It's really good news that most children quit this sick child molesting cult when they come of age. Sane people don't join this sick group nor do they remain in it when they have the option to leave.

The WT has no scrupples. They prostitute themselves daily in everything they do. We've all seen them overlook many things that rich/famous JW's do that would have gotten any regular JW DF'd.
"Don't bite the hand that feeds you." I think this sums up much of it. I just cannot see them DF'ing a person who, for example, gave the WT ten million dollars every year. They would sell their own families to get what they want and they frequently do that literally.

God is not a trinity? I got the impression from thousands of WT articles that God WAS a trinity.

3. The Governing Body
Somehow, the holy spirit got bumped off the list. And the GB is more than happy to accept your total worship since Jehovah and Jesus are busy "inspiring" the GB and they both have no time for people. If and when the GB feels like it, they will tell the world what Jehovah or Jesus are thinking.
It's possible that the GB believes that Jehovah and Jesus don't know how to communicate with humanity so they are happy to do it for them. And to show our appreciation, we should give them everything we have, including our futures. And after they take everything we have, we should thank the GB as well as God, for the privileges we enjoyed while being fleeced.

Mary, I was just about to suggest they use women when I saw your post. We know what foot-kissing looks like when men who want to be elders beg the body to be appointed. But I wonder how a woman would go about kissing up to get appointed. And if women did become elders, it would be even funnier to see new women try to humiliate themselves to women elders to get appointed.
The best would be if new men were trying to get appointed by a body of elderettes.
I would pay good money to see THAT.

Any judge who would award a trespasser damages should be put in prison. In many states, and here in Florida as well, if you trespass and enter a home or come close enough to the homeowner that he/she fears for his safety, you can be shot dead. And the trespasser's family is forbidden by law from suing for damages. If they do, they will be punished by the court. I would think that would make a few of them think twice.
Perhaps JW's should ignore the WT and should go to college. They might finally learn to read so when there is a sign "NO JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES, NO EXCEPTIONS, YES THIS MEANS YOU" they will see it and leave people alone.

I don't know who will be left to go door to door with this nearly 125 year old lie. During the next 10 or 20 years, most JW's will be standing in line filing for Social Security (their checks will be very small and easy to carry), food stamps, welfare checks, and visiting psychologists that take charity cases for a reduced fee.
I know many of us who joined in the 70's had NOT heard anything about the hundreds of lies concerning the history of the WT. Nothing about 1874, Russell's wife, Russell's conduct, and the list goes on. Now that all this is freely available on the Internet, there is no excuse for JW's not to do the research. We didn't have any way to do this in the 70's unless you found someone or the occasional KH that had a library with all the books from the beginning. And many of those frowned on reading by yourself in the back room and NO way could you take any books home. I know, I used to be the Congregation Librarian.
