  i want to consider this point, free from the trinity / arian debate.

  there have been an abundance of threads that have deteriorated into these doctrine, and it clouds this issue because tempers get raised.. so, please, can we keep it simple.

  should jesus receive our worship, right here, right now?.

  the following quote is taken from the september 15, 2002 edition of the watchtower, p.16-18:.

  "in the first century, such individuals as hymanaeus, alexander, and philetus, were advocating ideas that did not fit "the pattern of healthful words.

  i faithfully attended all the meetings at the local kingdom hall...someone was studying with me...i went out in field service.but i never got invited to any of their social events.this hurt me so bad i stopped going to meetings.just curious,anyone else ever experience shunning?

  this is because i am the only member of my family that has been able to stay out of the j.w.s.

  as long as i attend meetings with them and keep my opinions to myself i am allowed to stay on the outside.

  ive been brought up to beleive that he died on a stake.

  where did it come from about the cross?

  i will follow that method of treatment which, according to my ability and judgment, i consider for the benefits of my patients, and abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous.
