  Why is there a High Rate of Suicide among Jehovahs Witnesses?????

  hi guys.

  last week i was involed in a very distressing situation, going with a family to identify their mother who had commited suicide.. we are waiting for the coroner to release the body for the funneral.. but, so far this year a number of jw have commited suicide in england,why???.

  can any one throw a light why so many jw of good standing commit suicide,.

  Hi Guys

  First,thank you all letters of support. I really apreciate that, especially those of you who have personal dealings with suicide.

  Secondly in United Kingdom, so far in the last 2 years theri have been 16 suicides among baptized JW.

  I belive that is high, especially when they are meant to have Hope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Maybe they have found out the truth about W?T mind control and all their hope goes out of the window.

  So lets keep this forum wellcoming to all those out there,and show them that their is hope after the W/T Mind Control.

  The different between National front and JW is .....National Front is an openly racist organisation, the British government has not banned them, even many say they should,

  The is the basic human rights in Britain the right to any political party and the right to any religious group.

  I am with agreement with Scooby on this..............

  JH. All this was started by the Russian Orthodox Church with an alliance of the political party,due to the fact the JW dont vote and and Putin is not happy about this.

  Russia is once again returning to a toltarian state "DO as you are told". and this we wish on no one.

  Lets not forget how many JW were exiled to Siberia in 1950 because they would not follow the state.

  All peoples of ALL faiths, should have the basic RIGHT, to worship their own gods.....

  moscow?judge vera k. dubinskaya of the golovinsky intermunicipal district court of the northern administrative circuit of the city of moscow ruled today to liquidate the moscow community of jehovah's witnesses and to impose a ban on their activity.

  Hi Guys

  I have a vested intrest in this issue with relatives from this part of the world. And the situation is simply the the Russian Orthodox Church has instigated all this legal issue against the Watchtower.

  This first happened back in 1991, and since then it has been building up. BUT it is not only against the Watchtower but against ALL Western or Eastern Religion.

  As the Russian Othodox Church feels threatened by other religions and hence wonts to ban them all.

  So as the Russian Orthodox church is very powerfull in Russia and has a political aliance with President Putnin, ( The Russian Orthodox Church told all its belivers to vote for Putnin), this issue or religous freedom will not go away.

  The Witnesses will eventually win in the European Court, but wether the Russians take any note is another subject. Today there is 133000 publishers in Russia.

  And all this religious freedom will only strenghten their faith, as the W/T is telling them that this attack is by Satan???????????????

  % of JW women versus % of JW men

  does anyone know the stats on this or have an idea?

  in all the congregations i have seen seems like the percentage of women is always higher than the men, though it was never information the org let out to us.

  also the women are the ones who are most involved in the preaching work--pioneering, etc.

  Just for you nosy lot, in Hong Kong, one congregation there has 128 Publishers..............

  124 Sister and only 4 brothers..................????????????

  Looks like we males are not misled very easy compared to our female lot !!!!!!!!!!!!
