Ok so Kony was a bit of a bastard and deserves to have some light shone on him. Kony day is a great way to highlight BAD in the world.

Why dont we highlight some GOOD to the people of our old world. What if we make RAY FRANZ famous? I never knew of him or his book until leaving, but it was an extra layer of concrete in the evidence I have against the old WT cult. I have shown the book and made the book aware to sme JW's and it has rocked their world. One family has even left. The idea of one of the gov body leaving is UNHEARD of and needs to be known. Lets make it known....

What if we all worked on a single poster (can then be redued to a leaflet too) that succinctly made the reader aware of

1) the name RayFranz

2)his books name

3) That you can get it easily on he internet (this would require it to be reasonably priced and easy to get maybe ask the publishers for a quick and easy domain name...dont suggest it yet, WT will buy it )

Then we could place it near KH's on bill boards, street lights and telegraph poles OUTSIDE KH's or assembly halls. Highlighting the name Franz and Crisis of Conscience, just to get both names out there. We could when we felt like it print a bunch off and go stick them up around KH's, especially when we were having one of 'those' days.. it may make us feel better

The poster needs to grab the attention of the JW, mention the name RAY FRANZ (first) highlight that in the late 70s a Governing Body Member quit based on disagreements, secondly he wrote a book called Crisis of Conscience and thirdly you can get it anywhere on the internet. Thats all !

I think this is a neat way to open up a few minds. What do you think ?

P.s. I dont plan to run around the streets masturbating, should this idea catch on. Maybe just my bedroom....

hey guys, sorry i haven't been on here much lately.. i just thought i would drop by and let you know of something i received.. from when i was 12 until i was 25, i worked on quick builds.. i started out just helping out wherever they would put me - then joined an actual crew: attendants.

i used to flag for forklifts.

then i asked if i could learn how to be an electrician because the flagging was about as boring as watching grass grow.. i only worked on electric crew 1 year, back in 2006.. i just got an email from my attendant crew overseer saying that i need to submit a photo for my id badge so that i can go to quickbuilds.

1)Health and safety !!!! (They dont care about people, think back 20 years and the level of safety... until Satan's rules got involved and made it all safe.... but yeah liability and people getting hurt is expensive.)

2)The ease of getting on site and stealing stuff. The metal for the heating and air system is worth plenty and plenty goes missing every build!

3) The cost of feeding so many wandering local JW's that just go "ooooooh look at the color of the chairs....awful!" and "ahhh i told you they were going to go with the elders colour scheme and not the one voted by the congregation!" Only to then say Amen ! at the end of the congregtions opening ceremony....lost track a bit there... so yeah these people turn up at lunch time and done time.

4) Pesky unwanted JW's and non JW's.This is about power, these guys that run these RBC's think they are KINGS. They dont want pesky locals that see them as 'just' elders, wandering around questioning their 'authority'. The amount of in-fighting and spats between RBC and local elders is ridiculous. Its like watching two male lion cubs claw each other. The power of course always lies with the HQ appointed RBC. So hypocritical... especially when they then go on to tell the whole world about their superhuman peace and cooperation during building these cult indoctrination centres.

5) No unapproved photos or info regarding costs, opulance etc or illegal working methods.

6) Apostates (have to be on the list somwhere). I think they are scared to death of us. They should be, we have seen behind the curtain you cheeky lying terds !

School is for fools!

so i'm looking to go to university, as is the norm.

what are the most important things to consider choosing a school and location to study?

and what would you say are the most important things to do in order to benefit from that education and succeed in that field?

I have no experience in culinary art, unless we call scribbling on the receipt from the shop, where I purchased my beans from..... culinary art.

I am a student ...may I reccomend you visit the schools you have in mind, check out the staff, the ethos, their approach (as all are unique). Secondly, you would not move to another city randomly in normal life, so if you can help it dont do it for education either. Visit the areas you would be living in and see if you could live there for 'x' number of years for the degree.

Ask the schools for their stats on employment, pass rate etc. Ask if they have placement schemes or access to jobs schemes etc. I.e. a chance to get your foot in the door with a big local/non-local player.

As for the choice in degree, well done... people will always want and more importantly need FOOD, clothing and housing, second to funeral parlours and doctors. For those that can afford it or get caught pinching oreo's, lawyers are sometimes useful. Everything else is a risky degree or a degree of passion. Either way its better than no degree.

Go do it Follow your dreams, I guarantee you wont regret it x Remember that the people that say "dont do it" have never done it and never will do it, hence they dont want you to do it! That was a big lesson in my early days. Be brave, follow your dreams, it is never a mistake to do so ;)

this is an honest question on my part.

someone on this board asked me 'how do you know' a while ago and i really struggled with it.

in fact, it was a turning point for me.

The god you imagine is not even the god of the bible.

Pick up,your bible and you will see he COMMANDS genocide on people's that did not know his laws, could not know his laws as there was no bible, not to mention they we're not born Jewish and so would face no other fate, he commanded slavery, including sexual (for women) and unlinke men, women were not limited to 7 years of slavery. He commanded infanticide, verses clearly describe god commanding the pillaging of nations with everything to be destroyed, even the suckling child. Incest, this was commanded and took place in many places including Noah's grandchildren, lot and his daughters (disgusting!) and many more . Rape, kidnap, terror, torture, racism, sexism, homophobia, the list of disgusting commands and acts by god is endless in the bible.

Is that the person you imagine when you talk to him? When you pray to him? How do these verses sit in regard to your imagined perception of him? What about his apparent desire to destroy everyone that doesnt worship him? What about the most horris of bible accounts when he asked a man to,sacrifice his son to him... What a horrid, disgusting thing to do. Do you have children? Would you cut that throat? Would you tell that god you would rather die than submit to such filth!? Do you imagine the god that commanded the death of David and Bathshebas baby as a punishment? When you look at cancer do you think as you do when you look at a flower..

"ooh my god designed that marvellous complex cancer!" and he did it to be so amazingly painful and punishing due to Adams scrumping!

Is this the god you really believe in? Go and read your bible, you will hate the god in the bible, you won't want to worship him, you will then lose the fear to research his invention,and when you do you will be enlightened with conclusive evidence the god of the bible was completely made up. Do you realise how relatively new the Jewish god is in world history? Do you realise he is an accumulation of many other gods? Gods much older but with varied morals and stories, yet all sharing undeniable themes!

When people talk of the love of god, they are in self delusion with psychological need for imaginary comfort. When was the last time god gave you even a hug!

Knowledge is power. Ignorance is wasteful.

apostates undercover elders (i know there are some professed elders on here) have you ever handled a jc envoling a publisher viewing sites like jwn or others and who question the gb etc.. and if not what if you were assigned a jc involving apostacy?.

i would think this would be almost, if not an impossible situation.. kensho.

Thank you COBE beef, I feel for you.

I guess my thoughts for such people is, if your loved ones really love you.. it won't matter if you believe in fairies. The big problem in the JWs in my humble opinion, is that many ppl have little more connection to their partner than their faith and aesthetic attraction, so when the faith goes little is left. In the awful world, love prevails beyond taste in music, clothes or political party and even faith! Attraction may waver on these issues, but not love. COBE BEEF I am not inferring your marriage is loveless at all, it sounds quite the opposite. However I feel most jw marriages are. It would not matter so much if you left or stayed if yr partners really loved you. They may love their religion more, but that again is an issue of lacking love for the leaving partner.

I guess you are right, these people provide us with ammo in that we are informed about what the org is telling our families. But these elders are the people my family are listening to, believing and following. Their shepherds.

I guess I will have to leave it at that, as I said maybe its too sensitive for me to be objective.

i just wanted to say first off thank you all for the warm welcome and kind words.

despite what i've been told by the wbts, i have a hard time believing people in the 'world' are by default bad just because they're non-jws.

so thanks for the kindness.

Of course you are afraid matey,

The god you are talking about was responsible for genocide, incest, rape, slavery, infanticide, sexism, kidnap, human sacrifice, homophobia, segregation, racism and more... Of course you are afraid! But ask yourself, do you want to worship this being! Do you even want to befriend this being? If he was a human how would we view him? Once you get past that you will be free to examine the evidence, it really doesn't take long before you realise it is all myth and legend mixed in with social control and manipulation. If you want to be free... Educate yourself, question everything you are told. Get the history books out, the science books, the theological books... Alternatively people have already done it for you online, but I think it's better to do it yourself. The only motive you can trust is your own.

Go to museums, read about evolution... The refreshing end to the fear and guilt is worth the effort, not to mention finally discovering the real 'truth'.

On a side note to the JWs did you know that one of the governing body left due to the 'crisis of conscience' he had? Quite shocking hey ! His name was Ray Franz and he wrote a book about why he left. Check it out sometime. Also I encourage every JW to read Barbara Andersons story, available everywhere online. She was a writer for the Wt publications. Her and her husbands life story appeared in the mags a few times. She left over the protection and covering up of paedophiles in prominent positions.

Finally I suggest you take a look at A website that isn't mentioned often. It only refers to quotes from JW literature and shows all the huge changes in doctrine that has taken place with no explanation. Some quite disgusting, for example... Regarding rape

I am all for free thought, free opinion and free speech obviously, but some roles come with responsibility. Should Obama be allowed to believe that moon is made of cheese? Sure! Should he announce it? Well.... It will make America look stupid but ok, freedom of speech and all.... What if he says the moon rocks are fake and makes a museum with moo artefacts made out of Edam? Ok it's time for him to retire as president right? Truth is had he been vocal about his moon cheese beliefs he would not get into the white house.

So what about positions of responsibility where there is no democracy such as science. Should a scientist be able to think for himself? Sure! What about vocally oppose all the evidence .... Sure ok... What about build a museum where dinosaurs are ridden via saddles?

What is the rationale given for not listing partakers?

if i was still in this would a huge deal for me.

before leaving i was bothered that the wt was saying the number of partakers was dwindling while the facts (worldwide reports) showed otherwise.

Ray Franz comes to mind as much as I respect him for speaking the truth eventually, I am convinced he and others like him turn to other faiths because the alternative is to admit the truth..... god didnt visit you with his spirit and anoint you as a king
