Watchtower have redefined much for their own wants, be it the meaning of 'generation' or 'fraction'.

Elders answer questions about the changes of the blood ban
by opusdei1972 insome days ago two elders visited my sister because she has not been attending the meetings more than one year.
this time she prepared notes containing watchtower past teachings about the blood ban so as to ask them for those changes, and it seems that the elders were also prepared for her past questions.
for instance she showed them that "albumin" was considered "under scriptural ban" in 1956 (read the page 20 of awake, september 8).

Also, last 2 cents... there is an important issue in JW's that is not to be underestimated, for many...AN answer is enough. Not the right answer just AN answer.
Nowhere else is this logical, acceptible or smart. It only works in fascist regimes and fundementalist belief systems.
This woman asked very specific questions and the answers were irrelevant to her question. It was given to her because that is the answer the elders have been told to give. Argue that the answer is ridiculous and you are instantly disrespecting the FDS and now can be labeled an apostate.
A sham and a source of b.s. nothing more

Why did Ray Franz leave the Organization? Your Opinion Matters!
by SanLuisObispoTruthSeeker inwhat would make a man throw away all his earthly riches to expose the cult?
what did ray franz have to gain by leaving in total poverty?
if ray franz had stayed in place, he could have lived like a god, why did he leave?

I have no false affinity for Franz, I have no doubt he screwed up many peoples lives in his role as GB. But he did more than anyone else ever has in the JW's, belated (obviously...you have to,give your life to become GB) but he did it. In fact he gave up all he had as an old man, to live in a caravan, so let's show some respect.
I don't know your story Focus, I don't know how many years were taken from you I don't know what you lost, what you gave up. I don't know how many people you helped leave.
Despite this I am confident Franz indeed hurt more and gave more, but he also lost more and helped more.

Local Kingdom Hall Speakers To Be Replaced By Governing Body Video Feeds.
by donuthole inso we've seen as the current gb is getting more facetime in an effort to reach the hearts and minds of the rank and file.
this took a leap with video feeds at an open annual meeting.
the international conventions are taking this a step farther.. do you think that local speakers at kingdom halls could ever be replaced by headquarter approved video feeds?.

Tony Morriss III has an ego, I believe this is the main reason for these recent changes.
Before long the GB will see the error in shining a light onto themselves. The videos on youtube already identify them as bizzare, homophobic, sharp tongued, poison minded, vitrioloic old men with NO appreciation of the real world. This plays against them....They were better off being nameless, invisible old men working all day and night reading the bible, warm hearted scholars.... as everyone imagined them, quite wrongly.

Jesus broke laws punishable by death....to heal people, he even asked....who of you wouldnt break the law to save a lamb?
If people want to believe in the bible, the answer to the blood transfusion issue is in the verses. Not that the bible isn't full of contradictions, it is.. but who are the 8 window cleaners in HQ to decide which verses have more legitimacy, the OT or the NT.

He knew they were translating verses incorrectly and were lying about history (607 bce) etc. He spoke up, he was slapped down and told to shut up, he didn't...

I believe nothing I hear and half of what I see....
Never seen any evidence for demons, ghosts and spirits so it would be delusional for me to believe in them.

No..YOU get it right, nobody says the bible is bronze age, in reference to christianity ..."Bronze Age beliefs"...is commonly used.
The bible is plagirism of bronze age beliefs... with new names and locations.
