i had no idea and if this has already been addressed then so be it.
i find it interesting due to the fact that so much is made of the jws being in camps during ww2 and nothing else is expressed about the other millions who died in these camps.

UK from 99-00 and it was eye opening.
it was just a factory, with stringent rules, with people scurrying for authority. Lots of policing, lots of snitching, lots of affairs and drinking.
It was no spiritual haven, likewise it was no conspirital Area 51, it was JUST a factory run by a cult that cared A LOT about how much you cost them. I was 'told off' as I had my window open whilst the heating was on, in winter. As a 20 year old working there for FREE it was a surprise.
worst thing I saw: sisters clean the toilets of the accommodation with.... Toothbrushes.
best thing I saw: the matrix on my pal's TV with 5.1 surround sound.

by elderINewton inwell another big bad elder here just wanting to say sorry.. i'm sorry that so many were treated like crap, and shown that god's love is not to be found around jehovah's witnesses.
i'm sorry that inadvertently i've likely taught many to judge and as such see that racism permeates every corner of the jw world, else why else would someone be of the world, or even inactive.
i'm sorry i sat in on a jc, and voted to df.

Save your daughter, get her out the meetings and preparing watchtowers and into the school and preparing for exams. You and your wife have had your life and still have the means to repair what was lost, act fast and your daughter may just get a chance at a wonderful normal life.
i left at 26 and the only regret, as with everyone that leaves, is not leaving earlier.
p.s. Much kudos for being brave and coming here.

Hey buddy,
yeah leg is still in plaster, thankfully healing in good alignment. Another 3 weeks to go! I was due to leave for a music festival today, in Spain, but can't go...lame,
The bike is perfect, I never got to pick it up. I broke my leg on the Wed, was picking it up on the next Mon. It is sat waiting for me in Cardiff :(

among white mainline protestant denominations, support ranges from 69 percent support among white mainline presbyterians and 68 percent among both white episcopalians and white congregationalists/united church of christ members, to lower support among white mainline baptists (53 percent) and white mainline church of christ/disciples (50 percent).. and while the catholic church officially opposes the legalization of same-sex marriage, about six in ten white (61 percent), hispanic (60 percent), and other non-white catholics (60 percent) support allowing gay and lesbian couples to marry legally.

I was so ashamed when the JW's came bottom of the worlds religious denomination tables for education and household income, but this is just Bronze Age embarrassing.
The youth and liberals in the JW's (25%) have done well to say they support it, but it is no surprise that the worlds most draconian belief system is falling further and further behind.
Hopefully this will prove eye opening for the more humane and less ignorant JW's........
