The recent letters from the Service Dept. (exposed on the
internet - freeminds.org) show that the Society has no
defense in depth of the blood transfusion issue.

Secondly, the recent April 1 Watchtower, shows that the
Governing Body continues to encourage young people to
bleed to death (pg.27).

Thirdly, they dumped the new blood cards at the last
minute - and have already signaled their compromise on
hemoglobin products (Questions From Readers)

The stage is now set!

Suppose someone comes forward with secret tape recordings,
documents, or eyewitness testimony that the Governing
Body - or other powerful commitees - are deliberately
stalling and manipulating this deadly issue to save
the organization from public exposure.

Remember, they can't apologize
they can't say "We goofed, Fred Franz screwed up"
they can't do anything that might suddenly expose
this fraud in front of dimwitted publishers
- or worse yet, the discerning 'world'!
Just imagine the headlines, the 60 minutes interviews,
the lawsuits, and the violent reactions found door to door.

They must walk a tightrope
every word must be weighed carefully
every leak prevented

You think Enron and Arthur Anderson are afraid
of whistleblowers and unshredded documents?
Think what the Watchtower has to fear!

Think too, of what a morally corrosive issue
this is - WAITING WHILE INNOCENT,DELUDED PEOPLE DIE!
Think of the internal opportunities for BLACKMAIL!

God, if I was one of the Society's lawyers, I could smoke
dope, visit massage parlours, and seduce elders wives
with invunerability - if I had the right evidence in my
back pocket.

when is a nutter going to get his revenge on the society?.

there are plenty of psychos out there who have become jw's.how long will it be before someone who has left the org and is mentally unstable is going to get revenge on the society?.

i think the gb should be worried for their lives, if someone gets into bethal with a gun or a bomb they could get blasted to smithereens.. i know it has happened at least twise.a bomb in a kingdom hall in austrailia and i think a fire in korea that killed a lot of witnesses.. but think of how violent the us is compared to a lot of countries and how easy gun accses is there.. it may not be a question of if , but when.

as persecution - and they would play on public sympathy.

On the other hand, the loss of a few key men in the
organization could cause profound changes in doctrine
and reform. If they died off or were df'd, it would
open the door to moral reforms.

WT publications re Rutherford's imprisonment

could any one tell me which of the publications would have the account of rutherford's trial and subsequent jail time.

i have many of the older books, nothing since 1990 or thereabouts.

i want to show someone the vast difference in stories.

Twisted men like Rutherford come to power
because other men, as their followers, are too
gutless and lacking in balls to say "No!". Not having
balls isn't much of an exageration when you consider that
many of these spineless wimps avoided marriage and
having kids because the Judge told them not to.

This is why the organization today continues to preach
about the blood issue - long after the doctrine has been
proved to be a fraud. They would rather keep killing off
deluded young people than admit they were wrong - a display
of the same cowardly tradition.

actually, if you scroll down further, there are several current 'letters to the editor' in response to the young jehovah's witness living in alberta, canada that required a court order to receive blood transfusions during her fight with leukemia.. any one associated with jehovahs witnesses could research the issue and submit a comment if they are so inclined.. flip

How A Witness Might Respond to Doctrinal Errors

hello people.

i would appreciate your take on the following reasoning.. a witness when presented with some errors of wt doctrine such as 607bce for example could turn round and say, "well we might be wrong on this but this matter is not as bad as teaching that god burns sinners in a fiery hell forever like some religion of christendom do.

i do not feel that chronology (or some other matter) affects my relationship with jehovah and his organization.

I get so disgusted with that showing love stuff.

Failing to kill someone else is not any evidence of love.
Witnesses don't go to war out of obedience to the organization,
not because they care a rats a$$ about anybody. Witnesses
set a poor example on charity - often barely manifesting it
to each other, much less people in the world.

The Society has downgraded the 'love for one another'
argument in recent years (see Truth book, where it used to
be reason #1) because they know how ungracious most Witnesses
are these days.

AN EXPERIENCE !!!

today, a coworker finished reading my d.a.

letter i have prepared, but not sent yet.. part of my recovery from the damaged caused from membership in the cult has been to be open and honest as to who i am, was and what i was involved in.. so i gave him the letter to read, and he gave it back today, two weeks later, and said:.

"i told my wife, if they ever come knocking at our door, tell them to leave, and if they won't, call the police".

Some lady I know in the sales dept. asked why I was less
conservative. I told her about my daughter getting molested
and the elders covering it up. She said she understood.
I think she's Catholic.

Eventually, if the arrogant Watchtower leadership ("we are
the faithful slave!") doesn't change, their reputation will be blackened. I remember a car survey that a person with a lemon
complains to 17 other people - ruining the car companies
prospects. Since the ivory tower Governing Body hasn't even
risen to the common standards of apology, they've got quite
a ways to go.

There have been a sad lot of old Rutherford era Witnesses
who let themselves be suckered into avoiding marriage and
childbearing - while the Judge was going to burlesque shows
and sleeping with his live in cook.

Most are deceased - in private moments they would express
regret.

a funny childhood memory came back to me recently.

everyone was accustomed to viewing jesus clean-shaven in all the wt soc.

Knorr and others hated beards. They were afraid a bearded Jesus
would encourage brothers to grow beards. Things changed,
at least in the publications, after the question from readers
on the subject - Jesus would have appeared Roman or Gentile
if he had no beard.
