Juliette, thank goodness you were there. You had true compassion for this girl, your own experiences make you able to really connect with people. You obviously connected with her and I hope you find her again and that she is ok. You've restored my faith in people by your complete unselfish actions. I don't know you but I find myself wanting to tell you that I love you, you are inspirational. Big hugs xx

I almost gave up today except for a girl her tried to throw herself infront of two cars.............
by umbertoecho inthis may sound insane but i literally have blood on my hands as i have just come home from a counselling session that went wrong...i wanted to collate all that has happened and record it...hospital policy is against it.
i said "what am i alive for then if not to tell the truth" she tut tutted and i walked out sadly in despair.. when i got to the ground floor there was a young girl screaming her head off.
she was afraid, that is all she was...........afraid.

So sad but a wonderful tribute. I have researched my family tree for many years and am always thrilled when I find pictures and stories of my ancestors on line, she must have extended family who would love to see your picture and lovely story. I would ask the local paper to repeat your story and see if anyone responds xx -

Intro and Thoughts
by ThinkerBelle ini've been lurking on the board for almost a year now and i think i'm ready to come out of hiding (although, i'm so nervous as i type this).
i'm not ready to share everything about my story, but the basics are that i'm a born-in, elder's kid, baptized as a teenager because i was tired of hearing people ask me "all your friends are baptized, when are you going to get baptized?
", married an unbeliever (was df, but came back shortly after) and we have two kids.

Hi ThinkerBell
Welcome to the forum. I'm new myself after 2 and a half years of lurking but can honestly say it's full of non judgemental support. I wish I'd joined earlier! I'm glad you're not completely alone in your situation and have your husband and family to support you. Looking forward to hearing more of your story when you feel ready. x

Twickenham UK similar to the comment about Michael Jackson but it was Prince. Came with an entourage, had his own personal attendant to look after him (my uncle) every time he went anywhere they had to radio control to let them know he was on the move using code name 'purple rain' (you can't make this stuff up)!! So much for all being equal!!
Best memory was twickenham about 1975 when I managed to get lost, lost and found gave me orange juice and biscuits, took ages for my mum to come get me. Worst was the toilets, some were dustbins with lids on, they stank.

Thank you all. I do agree with some of your thoughts Magnum for those hardcore witnesses but if it was me (not hardcore) and I was the witness that had ignored someone and had caused them to get upset, I would have felt terrible. I'm hoping they will go home feeling bad and realising what a cruel thing shunning is! The other positive is my Weight Class leader knows the situation and saw first hand the reaction. She is disgusted by it all and hopefully warns others to stay away from JW's. -
