WELCOME, BILL!!!
SEE YOU IN A FEW HOURS, I GOTTA GET SOME SHUTEYE BEFORE I RIDE IN TO BROOKLYN.
tommorow i will be marching in nyc.. i took a personal day off fromwork and am flying up to nyc overnight.. for me, i was compelled to make the journey.
the march is going to open up a lot of old wound which only have just scarred over the years to mentally survive.
it will be part of my healing.. i can't sleep for the tears just flow even after all these years,.
Bring an umbrella, it's going to rain on your parade!
EDITED FOR OBSCENITY.
Do you really get some kind of JOY from making such comments about an event that is supposed to show SUPPORT for the victims who have suffered under the JW's pedophile policy? Is THAT what your "Bible Students" teach and support?
If this was supposed to be a joke - you have FAILED to elicit any laughter. I really hope I don't see you in Brooklyn on the 27th - I just may have to kick your ass.

who of you are writers out there?.
since being a child, people have responded positively to my writing.
i've written countless items of poetry, but never let them out into the public domain.
((((SIRONA))))
Firstly, how do I know that what I write is any good?
As with any creative endeavor, you can tell when you are "good" (although that's a very relative term) if you elicit a response from your audience. In other words, ambivilance is NOT what you're after. Even if you get a "bad" response (another relative term), this allows you to see how to tweak your work. Artists, however, don't normally like to please the mainstream - and this is true for political radicals or liberals, as well. You should want to stir some emotion with your work, force people to, at least, THINK about what it is you're trying to express.
Hope this helped.

when i was a jw, i really couldn't stomach the watchtowers.
the only articles i would read would be for the family study/watchtower study.
it seemed so archaic and old-people-ish.. i did read the awake from cover to cover almost every time.
"She would go running around telling people "I'm in the best school in the world...the Theocratic Ministry School!!"I bet most people who heard her thought that the TMS was a school for the mentally handicapped.
YAYYYYYY!! I GOTTA "G", I GOTTA "G", YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!
ahem.
Anyone besides me love Special Ed from "Crank Yankers"?

Well, they are both equally absorbant, and when the WT switched over to "free sheet"-type paper in the mid-'80's (you former Factory workers know what I mean), I noticed a distinct improvement in softness when wiping my backside. Since Afake! had more pictures, though, I think I wiped with Witchtowers more often.
my posting name might be familiar to some out there.
actually, i started on the old h2o, and i came over here with many on the board a long time back.. do any of you remember what problem i had??.
well, if you do, don't post anything about it -as the "problem" shouldn't be discussed here where just anybody could read about it.
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, from the thousands of posts on the old H2O?
we were all glued to some form of communication be it the radio, the phone, the tv, cds.
sometimes the talking about it just wasn't enough to express what we felt.
i know i personally turned to music.
Here in New York, I took the day off and sang Mozart's "Requiem" with the Juilliard Choral Union. Singing great works like that, in a time like this, helps me find peace. I lost no one in the 9/11 tragedy, but I was there, 5 blocks away, when it happened.
before going to bed i thought i would ask this question.
mary roberson said, america is using the war on terror as an excuse to trample on other nations that are troublesome to us.
how many agree with her?.
I don't know who she is, but the "War On Terrorism" is a fantastic umbrella for G W Bush, under which he can identify any military or political campaign that complements his agenda. It's all about the OIL.
