ive been reading a lot on the issue of child molestion and the watchtower society.
ive read some things about the borg settling cases out-of-court but i havent heard many details.. does anyone know if the watchtower has agreed to any terms for settling a case that involve non-monetary terms?
for example, today i read in the l.a. daily journal about the catholic church settling a case that involved these terms:.
**I couldn't disagree more. A mainstream church is now being forced into it. What's to prevent that from happening to a mainstream cult?**
I did not say it could NEVER happen; just that the chances are slim that the WT would be willing to do so. They very well may be pressured to have such a provision, either on their web site, or in ads on the back of their magazines - but be assured that much kicking and screaming will occur before that happens. The WT has a history of being slow to react when it comes to any action that could be percieved as an admission of guilt on their part.

RAY -
Since the chances of the WT having a phone line or web site for reporting child molestation are slim to none, Bill Bowen has already designed a wonderful site for this:
Hope that helps.

i am erica garza rodriguez.
i wanted to write and thank all of you for your interest and support during this long pursuit of justice.. to those wonderful friends who were able to travel to ritzville for the trial, my heart overflows with humble gratitude.. bill bowen (and wife sheila, behind the scene).
b (you know who you are), pat, chris, richard and wife, gsark, baharama and sister, maximus, were you there?
(((((((((((ERICA)))))))))))))))
You are a true Angel - courageous, firm, bold and full of conviction! We are so proud of you for being strong, and helping to see that justice was served! There is still much to be done, but your actions and words will make it that much easier for those who follow you into their own court battles. Bravissima!

dear jw,.
i have some questions.
as i understand it, if armageddon came tomorrow, those that never heard the truth, in such places as india or china would either live through armageddon or die and be resurrected.
**Now, if my logic is correct, why should you spend any time in field service? Wouldn't it be better to leave everyone alone? They would have a better chance of making it to the new world that way. If you mess up, their blood is on your shoulders. If you never talk to them, you are blameless.**
LARC:
I came to the same conclusion years ago! It was one of the reasons why I left the bOrg. Such a waste of time and resources - ultimately only benefits the WTBTS.

hello everyone,.
i am bill's wife.he just called me from washington and told me to let you all know that erica won her case today!.
that sick child molesting bastard is in jail now as we speak.. his sentencing is set for september 24th i think.. one down many more to go.. thanks to all who have supported this cause.. sheila
That is wonderful news! There is much more to be done, but it's always good to have legal precedents set for future cases! All the best to Erica and her family, we know she has a lot of healing to do still - but support is available. God bless...

why don't the brothers put more feeling and encouragement in their parts(if they believe this is the truth-show it) much of the information is above the heads of the children.
i have to force myself to concentrate on what is being said and not fall asleep.. children are forced to sit for 2 hours or get smacked.
you can just stay home and read over material.
**"if it took two weeks for these courageous friends to travel to the assembly, what did the elders say about the congregation meetings they missed in between"?.**
That's a pisser! You get big props for that one, my friend!
