Rick Fenton, the Witness spokesman quoted in the article, said,
"Any one of Jehovah's Witnesses is free to express their feelings and to ask questions," he said. "If a person changes their mind about Bible-based teachings they once held dear, we recognise their right to leave."
He neglected to mention that if a person leaves because he has 'changed his mind' about Watchtower teaching the truth, that person is then viewed as as a 'mentally diseased apostate,' and shunned.
He's telling a half-truth, which is the same as a lie.
It's so easy to see through their (JW's) dishonesty when you've been away from it for a while.
