reddit has now removed the video link of samuel herd telling jw's they will no longer have to report time or placements - just tick a box which says "active.".

I think there is about to be a major increase in the Jehovah's Witness organization.
You don't have to go door to door, or take part in the cart work - all you have to do now is check a box that says you took part in some part of the ministry, a simple passing remark to someone would qualify you to check that box.
Hours will go down but they aren't counted anymore anyway, however the number of publishers will sky rocket!
It's so easy to be a publisher now.
Of course the Organization will advertise that increase and say 'Look how Jehovah is blessing his spirit directed organization on earth today.'

not that many years back, it used to be hyped beforehand with favored ones getting special invites.

To stop reporting time seems major to me. For decades the Organization has been collecting and reporting hours and placement numbers to show how 'Jehovah's Organization is growing in these critical last days.'
Is Watchtower in such extreme decline that it needs to hide the fact that the numbers are going down? I haven't trusted their numbers for a long time - I feel they simply found ways to spin the numbers into looking better than they really are.
What else will they stop reporting? Maybe the total number of congregations, which has been dwindling too?`

What numbers are you going by to know for a certainty that Watchtower won't be here in 5 years? The Biblical references you quoted have no dates attached to them, so where are you get your numbers?

You continue to quote scripture that actually says nothing about Watchtower, but relies on heavy interpretation instead, to get your understanding of it. For me it's just too inexact.
And you didn't answer my question about 5 years from now, if Watchtower is still here what will you say.

Your analogy of hearing thunder and knowing that a storm is close has nothing to do with the end of Watchtower.
You go on to say 'it's not years away.' Fine. You say nobody can know when it will be for sure, but if you know it's not years away, then is it then just months away?
And if we go 5 more years from now, and Watchtower still exists, will you feel a need to rethink your ideas?

I asked, When is this supposed to happen?
EasyPrompt replied,

Those replies are a bit vague for me. Can you be more specific? Will the Watchtower Organization be gone in a year? In 10 years? In 50 years?
You keep implying that it will happen very soon, but I would like you to be more specific about when, if you can.

i thought this fellow, not sure if he is pimo or pomo, who goes by the name anonymous, gives a fair opinion summary.. "i was a jw for many years, but generally not a particularly stellar example of one.

I agree with what was said above about Jehovah's Witnesses being good, hard working people who try to do what is right for the most part.
As to the Organization itself, I believe it is probably the most dishonest religious organization ever invented by man.

i also don't frequent this forum like i used to.. i have posted my story before, like 8 years ago.

i have been a baptized witness for the last 30+ years, but have not attended meetings in the last 15 years.

You never know, since they haven't asked it's possible they have issues with the no-blood policy themselves. That would be a very good thing!
