Yay for Mrs S.! Bet you're relieved. I label mine (the drive label) with my name and write protect them, but always copy new stuff to one of my machines or Google Docs. This method came in very handy when I lost one at Uni and couldn't retrieve it from the Mac suite techies for another 2 weeks.

if it doesn't turn up soon i'm going to have to "wing it" tomorrow.
i don't want to have to wing it.

The exact moment after the brother saying the last prayer uttered "Amen". The sense of relief for being able to get up off my numb bum and stop clock-watching was just immense!

These parents at least seem reasonably balanced, and they don't seem to be kicking up too much of a fuss about it being used as a last resort... interesting. I wonder if they'll get in trouble for failing to tow the party line and be more bullish about the whole thing. - Cedars
I bet they are praying it doesn't come to that.
"But he has also given the child’s parents permission to return to court to apply for the ruling to be changed in circumstances where the situation of their daughter improves and the risks diminish." - http://www.newstalk.ie/2011/news/court-grants-transfusion-order-for-jehovahs-witness-baby/
Surely the Hospital Liason Committee were involved so the parents won't get into trouble per se but instead will have an elder constantly 'holding their hands' interfering and pushing for a new court hearing on their behalf as soon as the baby's condition improves..?

Ordinarilly, a good Pinot Noir, Rioja or Shiraz; Peroni Nastro Azzurro or Kronenbourg.
Smirnoff & oj/diet coke/Red Bull, or a Gordon's Gin & Slimline Tonic if I don't want to get drunk too quickly.
A pint of Guinness with a pub lunch.
Margaritas or Taboo + Tequila + lemonade when out with the girls.
Port, cognac, Tia Maria & Bailey's at Christmas time.

BIG HUGS to you KDWF. There are plenty of absent fathers on this planet who want nothing to do with their offspring, but you are one of the diamond Daddies who actually does and is giving it his all to be a part of his kids' lives. I wish I could wave a magic wand for you to make your life all better as you truly don't deserve this. My only suggestion would be that now that the 'apostates are mentally diseased' article has been brought to the attention of several nations' Police and Human Rights authorities, it is worth showing that to your lawyer and presenting a copy at your next court hearing as proof of the kind of hateful bias and programming your kids are receiving.
Hang in there!

Do I just have a dirty, filthy, perverted apostate mind...
by serenitynow! in...or does the picture on page 30 of the december 2011 awake look like the beginning of a certain act?
i mean that sword is at waist level, the shaft is long (:-d) and there is a little round dealy on the end.
the male in the submissive position has got his mouth open, the dominant male is looking like "oh yeah, get ready.

I'm so glad I no longer have access to a personal *cough* hard copy of these. The temptation to doodle with a biro and highlighter pen is just too much!

Should Men Tuck In Their Shirts?
by minimus ini was reading an article about how men should not tuck in their shirts if the shirt is worn as casual wear.. i often wear suits with a black tee shirt, tucked in.
i have some great cabana style shirts that are always worn over the belt.
if i'm playing some sport, i would never tuck in a tee shirt.. i looked online after i read the article and it seems some are very firm on their position...... and while we're at it, should men wear a belt with jeans or with dress slacks?.
