i was with a fellow annointed one today, she is presently in her 80s, she keeps pondering on the new assignment she would receive upon arriving in heaven, she said that her hope had been made sure and the second sealing has been confirmed, she said she may be assigned to welcome ressurected ones in some part of the world or she may need to take up the responsibility of directing orderliness.
she continues to mention how delighted she would be to see some fellow annointed folks who had remained faithful then she goes on and on encouraging young ones like me who just started partaking to remain faithful till the end so that my hope can be made sure.. .

a huge number of jws have mental illnesses.
i knew someone with a schizophrenic disorder and he would occasionally forget/refuse to take his pills which made for some very embarassing moments at the meetings and on service.
he would come to our house claiming he is jesus christ in the flesh and would get upset with anyone that didn't believe him.
Considering I've done SEN (Special Educational Needs) work, I must say that I've never actually encountered a Tourette's sufferer who does blurt out obscenities. Most just have a strong tick/twitch that interupts their talking/writing etc.

No, but there were several schizophrenics over the years. One of them was convinced she'd given birth to the spawn of Satan.
i'm quite new to this site, and i've noticed that many of you are more than happy to call yourselves "apostates", even though many of you evidently believe in the bible and in jesus as saviour, etc.. i'm aware that the society brands anyone who disagrees with them as being an "apostate", but just because they choose to do this, does this mean we should be comfortable with being so branded?
should we "bend over" and take it?.

Apostate is THEIR term for US. Most of us have adopted it in a very 'tongue in cheek', ironic manner as many of us don't believe the Bible (or the NWT at least) as the word of God. So it's all water off a duck's back really.
