Rumor of new light on the headquarters of the WT
by wolfman85 ini read in a forum in spanish that there is a strong rumor spreading in the corridors of the wt.
has anyone heard anything about this??
the change that is emerging is this: the great crowd has not yet appeared, and it is a group that comes out of the great tribulation.

So...why is taking blood essentially viewed as unforgivable by the WT?
by sd-7 inbeen hearing about this 'grey's anatomy' episode, and while i didn't see it, it brought up a question i wanted to throw out there, albeit a long-winded one, as is my usual nature.. the fact that people would rather die than take blood, as if...if they take it, they're doomed for sure to not make the new system--it doesn't make sense to me.
people both in the organization and the bible stories are forgiven for heinous crimes, murder, adultery, child sacrifice, everything up to and including denying jesus altogether.
(let's not forget child molestation and rape, apparently...) so why does it seem like this one act is presented to jws as one that's never to be forgiven?.

I suppose a better question for the mentally deficient and intellectually challenged would be whether they're connected with the reasons why that definition is unfair, wrong and anti-semitic?
Certainly not all Christians fall into that mold. From my perspective, it's primarily an affliction of JW's and kindred groupsDefine pharisee as an adjective is not a problem of JW's and kindred groups, and for the record I do not consider myself a defender of the JW.
Simply, several dictionaries support the use of this word to describe a hypocritically self-righteous person and none of these dictionaries, to my knowledge, are produced by the WT or any other religious group. Same with "Judas". Biblically one was half brother of Jesus and the other a traitor. Hardly, if a person call another to be a Judas, would think of the half-brother of Jesus. What is a problem is when someone starts to see "anti-Semitism" in any comment.

Therefore to a Jewish person, definition #2 is simply religious bigotry.
I'm sure the vast majority in this forum are not Jews, so the majority of us are very well connected with the dictionary meaning of being A hypocritically self-righteous person.

Yes, but part of the article from the 1995 WT seems to be talking again through their two mouths because after point out the differences of the other sheep and the great crowd, come with this paragraph:
Understandably, though, for these to survive the approaching great tribulation, they must earlier have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb, becoming true worshipers. Hence, though Revelation 7:9 is describing this crowd after the tribulation, we may apply the term "great crowd" to all with earthly hopes who are rendering Jehovah sacred service now, just before the great tribulation breaks out with the nations' attack on false religion.

The change that is emerging is this: The great crowd has not yet appeared, and it is a group that comes out of the great tribulation. Therefore, given that the Apocalypse has not arrived yet, nor is there the great crowd at the moment, not until after Armageddon. To the question of how to call the hitherto great crowd, the answer is: referred to this group of not anointed only as "other sheep" and not as the great crowd.

TD, Of course some were followers of Jesus, but when I refer to the WT is worse than the Pharisees of Jesus' day, I mean the number 2 of the definition of a pharisee below.
Pharisee ['fær??si?]
n
1. (Non-Christian Religions / Judaism) Judaism a member of an ancient Jewish sect that was opposed to the Sadducees, teaching strict observance of Jewish tradition as interpreted rabbinically and believing in life after death and in the coming of the Messiah2. (often not capital) a self-righteous or hypocritical person
[Old English Fariseus, ultimately from Aramaic perishaiya, pl of perish separated]

The 2013 Special Talk "Does Death End It All"... Spanish version eliminates the word "Nanotechnology"
by Calebs Airplane inremember this incredibly stupid sentence in the 2013 special talk (posted on this board in recent months)?:.
"despite nanotechnology, humans can neither create life nor restore it.".
well apparently, the english-to-spanish translator (who wrote the spanish version of the 2013 special talk outline) apparently realized that the use of the word "nanotechnology" in this outline was completely irrelevant and childish... so he simply substituted the word "nanotechnology" with the phrase "great scientific advancements".

Because they are worse than the Pharisees of Jesus' day and still have not understood the words of Jesus in Matthew 12:1-7, especially verse 7(KJV)
Mat 12:1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.
Mat 12:2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
Mat 12:3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;
Mat 12:4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?
Mat 12:5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?
Mat 12:6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
Mat 12:7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
