It's a fact that Rutherford didn't like beards, so eventually, the WT created a not written prohibition on beards. The same WT leaders make JW's believe that a brother with a beard was a spiritually weak person that allowed the Satan's World influences controlled his life. With that programation in mind, JW's men didn't want to be seen as spiritually weak people that allowed the corrupting influences of this system of things affected the congregation. BINGO!! The work was done. It was their "Christians trained conscience" that kept them away from beards.
Eventually, one brother here and another there realized the nonsense of this kind of reasoning and decided to grow a beard. What was WT next move?? The "stumbling block". They spent paper and ink making these brothers feeling guilt because they were making others(the weak ones) stumbling. First, the bearded brothers were the weak ones and know they were the stumbling blocks for the weak ones.
Since then the WT never has tried to correct the wrong point of view of the weak ones on this matter. Why?? Because they(the weak ones) make the perfect excuse that fills WT needs for control.

Try Not To Vomit When You Read Todays Text
by pale.emperor intuesday, february 27. let the elders who preside in a fine way be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard in speaking and teaching.—1 tim.
5:17.. those related to us in the faith certainly merit honor and respect.
this is especially true of the elders who are taking the lead.

The Bible refers to them as “gifts in men,” and they are a key part of God’s arrangement to care for the needs of his people. (Eph. 4:8)
This is a clear example how the Watchtower and their NWT twist the Scriptures. I have searched almost 40 Spanish Bibles in a computer program and several in English and Eph. 4:8 doesn't say "gifts in men". Each and every one of the Bibles translations I have read says: "gifts to men", a totally different meaning.

Allow me to say "thanks, but NO THANKS" to Jehovah's Witnesses New World. Can you imagine how much waste(s*it) do everlasting humans being would produce? Now imagine that you are assigned to be a latrine cleaner for several centuries. According to JW's you could be assigned to do a work that you don't like. How happy can you be doing something that you don't want to do, especially for an eternity?
The Watchtower—Study Edition | August 2015
Prepare Now for Life in the New World
6 It will be a pleasure to be under Jehovah’s arrangements in the new world as we work toward beautifying the earth, teaching resurrected ones, and doing Jehovah’s will for mankind. But what if we were directed to perform a particular aspect of the work that did not appeal to us? Would we submit to that direction by doing our best to carry out and even enjoy our assignment? Most of us would answer yes! Consistently, then, are we submitting to theocratic direction now? If we are doing so, we are preparing for everlasting life under Jehovah’s rulership.

Well...It's 2018 and still no ''Armageddon''
by RULES & REGULATIONS in1972 : we started studying with the jehovah's witnesses when my uncle became an elder and put fear into our family that armageddon was close.
1974 : my mom, my brother and i were all baptized after all the convention talks and watchtower magazine articles that 1975 would likely end this system of things.
1999 : being told that the year 2000 was going to mark the 6 thousand years of mans existence and that the 1000 year kingdom in the new paradisewould come in the year 2000.

Hi freddo. The Spanish version is from March 22, 1968. I think that those days the English version was couple month earlier than the Spanish version, but I'm not sure.

I got baptized in 1982 when I was 14. Though I was an 8 years old child in 1975 I remember very well all the expectations for that year. When nothing happened, then the WT came up with the END would come in the year 2000. They didn't say exactly that the end would be in the year 2000 but they said that our work would be completed in the 20th century. After they realized that their words were too compromising, those words were changed in the bound volume.
I have a print out of the Awake 1968 in Spanish where they said that EVERYTHING would be fulfilled in the 20th century. In other words, they were protecting themselves just in case the 1975 thing wouldn't happen. With this declaration, they were gaining 25 years more.
