i’ve been reading it for a few of years off and on, but have been a little too ... maybe ... timid to join.

i left the watchtower organization almost 20 years ago but never abandoned my faith and belief in god.

i knew the gb/organization didn’t represent god, so when i lost my faith in them, i managed to keep my faith in an all wise benevolent creator.

Hi Believer. I was a born in JW, and left the cult 5 years ago. Now I'm 49 years old. I'm not affiliated to any organized religion, but yes, I'm still a strong believer in God and Jesus. The main reason I still visit the forum is to find out the latest news about the WT, hoping that a bigger number of JW open their eyes about this dangerous cult.

Does John 6:52-58 state that not only the anointed can partake?

so i read a comment on youtube of someone stating that john 6:53-58 woke him up.

the nwt says .

The Olivet Discourse

i'm interested in hearing someone explain the olivet discourse.. note, there's much discussion on other sites, but so far, i've not heard an explanation of the entire discourse in a way that is logical, in full harmony and complete.. some feel that they have figured out one piece or another.

however, when inconsistencies are highlighted, the discussion ends.

some make outlandish claims.. i know that the watchtower version is so much refuse.

when i was a teenager, i was told by an elder that because i smiled a lot and was known for my good sense of humor, that i should come across as "more serious".

so before i was appointed a ms, while in my late teens, i transformed myself into a much more "serious" brother.. were you ever told that you needed to work on something that you knew was stoopid?.

Two elders took me to the back room for counseling because I invited two brothers to my house to watch the movie "The Incredible Hulk" from Marvels. It wasn't appropriate for Christians.

The Exodus confirmed..

for those of you that don't research this stuff i will give a little back story.

we all know about the moses exodus, but history and archeology didn't seem to confirm this event.

the only exodus out of egypt ever recorded was that of a group of asiatic tribes that had taken over egypt for a bit over 100 years called the hyksos and the followers of the pharaoh akhenaten who perpetuated a monotheistic idea of worshiping only one deity the aten.

I searched for a Jewish calendar and Nissan 14 is supposed to be on April 22.
