You are right CA is not a true and accurate translation of the original in English. Do you speak Spanish?? I would like to know more people who speak Spanish in this site.

The 2013 Special Talk "Does Death End It All"... Spanish version eliminates the word "Nanotechnology"
by Calebs Airplane inremember this incredibly stupid sentence in the 2013 special talk (posted on this board in recent months)?:.
"despite nanotechnology, humans can neither create life nor restore it.".
well apparently, the english-to-spanish translator (who wrote the spanish version of the 2013 special talk outline) apparently realized that the use of the word "nanotechnology" in this outline was completely irrelevant and childish... so he simply substituted the word "nanotechnology" with the phrase "great scientific advancements".

So...why is taking blood essentially viewed as unforgivable by the WT?
by sd-7 inbeen hearing about this 'grey's anatomy' episode, and while i didn't see it, it brought up a question i wanted to throw out there, albeit a long-winded one, as is my usual nature.. the fact that people would rather die than take blood, as if...if they take it, they're doomed for sure to not make the new system--it doesn't make sense to me.
people both in the organization and the bible stories are forgiven for heinous crimes, murder, adultery, child sacrifice, everything up to and including denying jesus altogether.
(let's not forget child molestation and rape, apparently...) so why does it seem like this one act is presented to jws as one that's never to be forgiven?.

Because they are worse than the Pharisees of Jesus' day and still have not understood the words of Jesus in Matthew 12:1-7, especially verse 7(KJV)
Mat 12:1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.
Mat 12:2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
Mat 12:3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;
Mat 12:4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?
Mat 12:5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?
Mat 12:6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
Mat 12:7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. -

Hi, this is what I think. I noticed that there is something about the girl that you like, and there's nothing wrong with that. You should check if she speaks to all male colleagues about "the truth". If not, then it may be one of two things with you;
1) she is attracted to you and she wants to see if you may be interested in the "truth" and so see you as a good prospect for her.
2) she is attracted to you, and she mentioned it to a JW friend, and this JW friend reminded how dangerous is going into an unequal yoke and the way of walking away from you is telling you about her beliefs. That way she keeps you away.
If she pleases you, be a gentleman, be friendly, be nice and pay attention a lot about details with her. Maybe so you can win her heart and she sends al CARAJO this cult. The first consultation is free. For the next one I accept Pay pal.

Proverbs 4:18
by sd-7 inmuch has been said about this oft-cited scripture: "the light gets brighter.
" this is, of course, used as justification for the apparently arbitrary changes in doctrine handed down by the governing body.
examining this scripture in its context may help us understand its meaning.. proverbs 4:14-19: "into the path of the wicked ones do not enter, and do not walk straight on into the way of the bad ones.

Yesterday was my last meeting
by nolongerconfused inyesterday's watchtower study was the last straw for me...as you all have probably seen the post before me, here's the quote that did it for me.
11/15/2012 wt "forgive one another freely".
paragraph 16 - "in accord with jehovahs's will, christian elders have been entrusted with the responsibility of wrongdoing in the congregation.

I congratulate you. This gives you the opportunity to show your wife that your love and dedication for her has nothing to do with you being part of an organized religion. She will figure it out in time. Keep true to your determination. Blessings to you and yours.

Should i go?
by MsGrowingGirl20 inso, a good friend of mine, a pentecostal christian, invited me to go to a retreat with her church.
we're the same age-19 years.
we were friends before i became a witness and she was always patient and caring with me especially throughout my arrogant spell as a witness.

If you go is like going from bad to worse. Jumping from the frying pan into the fire. But at end, that's up to you.

Interesting Genetic Research Published on Dog Evolution
by cantleave insome interesting work has been published this month in nature and reported in various blogs and journals.
it is work that gives more evidence to support the fact of evolution.
a team of swedish scientists led by evolutionary geneticist erik axelsson from uppsala university have identified genetic changes that could have been responsible for the transformation of wild wolves, into the ancestors of our beloved pet dogs.

Now you lie. I never said that adaptation and evolution are not related. Here is a part of my statement:
"Therefore, evolution may be closely related to adaptation, but not the same." There is your strawman. I can't debate anymore when people lie about what I have said.
