JW at work hitting on me!! (for real)

on another thread i mentioned i met some jws at work within the past 2 months.

well, 2 of them became particularly interested and getting to know me (a lady and a guy) the lady is really nice, and the only reason i know she is a jw is because she mentioned something about no b-days or christmas and that was it... she has not tried to preach to me or anything.... .

on the other hand... this young guy, well he is making sure he becomes my friend, asked me to be my fb friend and messages me everyday at work or on fb... now the funny thing is he told me he is a jw and about 3 times already he had suggested i read my bible (whenever i post status about being bored or unable to concentrate on homework), well yesterday he sent me a message that said "i would like to talk to you tonite, maybe we can hit it up" my reaction was .

I was one of JW, and I know how socially ackward they can be... that's why I am still debating what his itentions are, I mean, he seems pretty smart but w Jdubs that does not mean anything...

I did not accept his request for a video chat i told him I was "in my PJs and not appropiately dressed for him to see me" he said "is not like I am in a suit", I said "well you are a JW, you never know"... that was the end of our convo... I honestly dont give a ish about him... i feel a profund dislike for JWs and I dont want to go off on him if he tries to convert me.... But at the same time this situation is kind of funny, I dont know if I want to wait for him to give me a speech about his religion and then I can say... I know that, I was one of you... heheheeh

JRK... hahhahahah!! he wish he could have a divine experience w me... Believe me he would need no paradaise.... hahahah not a chance ;)

Nathan.... I thought the same thing, but he seems pretty knowledgeble of what he is doing, still he is a Jdub so I may be wrong...

Talesin... That's abot what I thought.... last nite after i posted this thread, he sent me another message... and a request for video chatting... haahhaha

On the other hand... this young guy, well he is making sure he becomes my friend, asked me to be my FB friend and messages me EVERYDAY at work or on FB... now the funny thing is he told me he is a JW and about 3 times already he had suggested I read my bible (whenever I post status about being bored or unable to concentrate on homework), well yesterday he sent me a message that said "I WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO YOU TONITE, MAYBE WE CAN HIT IT UP" my reaction was WTF!! i guess he is not so much of a JW or he is planning on converting me! lol

i was talking to one of my jw ex-friends today (we keep in contact every once in a while) and she was all excited telling me about the new arregment, a special meeting only for elders, their wives, pioneers and other sheep of "exemplary" conduct... (of course she was invited)..... something about one meeting from bethel that is going to be broadcasted to everyone at assembly halls and translated via radio for those who cannot speak english... is by invitation only (and they are "being discreet w the invitations to avoid offend the ones not invited") and they even gave them tickets they have to present at the door..... anyone has the scoop??

I wish I could get rid of all of them... but they are some family and heart ties I cannot cut easily Shamus....

Also, even though I feel the all of their believes are garbage, I know there are some good misguided people among them... and i just wish I could get them out

Ok, to follow up on the special meeting ish... my friend text me today (well, i texted her first cuz i wanted to know the scoop) and she said "Free... It was AMAZING, it felt like it was a higher level of knowledge being taught to us, I cannot even explain"....sighs!!! talk about brain washing!! :(

What you guys are saying makes a lot of sense!! I used to go to a Spanish congo, I've never heard of Zone meetings before (guess the Spanish speaking sheep were not as special and exemplary).

The girl that told me about this was extremely excited, they are making seem (at least in her congo) like it is "ultra special" if you are invited and you are not a pioneer or elder's wive (at least for the sisters) and she was even crying of exciment... I feel so bad for her, I felt sad to see her living that lie....

So much for "no elite" within the JWs... btw... she did mentioned (goosepumps and tears included) one or two of the "annointed" would be giving the special talks and the whole thing was about 2 hours long... hers is October 22, my grandma (in another state) is going October 23...

Yes.. I am a believer now... A believer that someone need to call CPS and get the greedy, stupid parents of this poor child to stop brain washing him... suuuureee... it was all him, that's how a 5 year old knows about "multiple streams of income" and "multiple multi million dollars ideas, inventions and strategies".... this is like the third time it happens!!...

so i am a corporate trainer and meet lots of new people every week... i always click w one or two of my students but for the last 2 classes i have clicked with two jws!!!

i did not know they where jws and they have no idea i am da'd... but after i befriended them on fb i realized ohhh ish!!!

@Ambersun... I plan to keep it professional, but they seem to be drawn to me, like they look for me and send me messages to say hi and stuff... I mean I don't even look like a JW anymore I have my nose pierced and I dont talk like a JW.... but is just funny... and weird... I'm going to let things take its course...
