  apart from being repetitively boring, it has managed to squeeze most of the watchtower's crazy concepts into a single book.

  was away from my normal computer and so my two posts to start the first thread didn't show.. however, thanks to all who picked up the topic and commented shadesofgrey, sizemik, lars, designs, otwo, jwfacts.

  since i never commented on my own thread, i thought i should and thank everyone.. adam's claimed date of creation of c. 4000 bc was mentioned, however, the bible would have everyone coming from noah at c. 2650 bc.

  american civilizations are said to date prior to the usual biblical date of the flood.

  are jehovah's witnesses allowed to eat the widely used e120 or carmine that is made of insect blood.

  it is the whole insect including its blood that is used and if you crush a living cochineal insect you will see its red blood color, i've seen that done on a program on bbc where they also refer to the red as the insect's blood.

  The same is true of farm raised salmon which uses cows blood in the feed in order to get the pink color.

  Doesnt it seem that there are other constitutional interests that could be argued in this sort of case? Does free exorcise trump this man's right to family and love of his children. I agree that in most cases that the 1st protects them....this seems like a way around it.
