Oh - and dogs just looooooove them, however they don't just 'bat' them around.

I was 17 years old with a brand new baby girl who had travelled to a brand new country 5000 miles away from my Mom that didn't speak English to be with new husband who was gone 3/4 of the first year due to military exercises. (wow! can we all say 'sitting duck' here?!)
Two sweet gals came knocking on my door and heck, I still remember her - Sabine - she eventually went to the Ivory Coast even though she only had one kidney. Anyway... due the the fact that I already disliked holidays due to my father, it intrigued me when they told me to get my own encyclopaedia and read up on it. I was amazed, really. I started to study.
I should've known something was wrong when I had my second child. Due to the doctor telling me I was having another C-section, I said "tie them while yer in there cos I'm not going through THIS again'. (c-section thing) The elders got quite upset and I was only approaching baptism, not having done the questions yet.
When they heard we had been posted back to Canada - they wanted to make sure I was baptized before I left Germany, just to make sure - and so I was, at a German assembly, with German questions (they asked the questions in English just for me) sigh. They also made sure someone was waiting for us at both stops on our way home - in Trenton, Ontario and in Oromocto, where the 'troof about the truth' would eventually sink in.
That congregation, in Lahr, looking back, was quite wonderful. We often went on picnics, which was great with the german countryside. I don't doubt things have changed there, as the Canadians no longer are there (on the base). But I often think of Sabine. She was one of those very soft personalities and she wasn't in good health. Last I heard she had left the Ivory Coast and was at Bethel.
Really, when one thinks about it - what BETTER way to spread 'the good news' than to get military folks involved. They're moving all over creation anyway.

i did a lot of searching for information about the evolution and changing of online communities and i discovered this article below that just blew me away with its insight and practicality.

But this isn't the borg. And there is something very very wrong here. Rapists get maybe 4 years; murderers get 25yrs. How does one compare murder with burning drapes under emotional duress to murder? You can't. I hope this guy sues.
It makes me sick when I heard this. My father got 1 year house arrest for 25 years of beating my mother. That's like giving him a vacation. (had my case gone through, he would be in jail - for a couple of years)
So something IS wrong with this story. Dude should sue.

well, i ran into him last night at the club and confronted him,, i asked him why he told on us, i just wanted to know, he said he didnt know why, he just felt pressured..i asked if he told on himself he said no!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i wanted to slap him right there.

Hon, this is indeed the depths of being 'set up'. Vent, vent, vent! You need to on this one sweetheart. Even when we think we know how decrepid the borg is, we find out later that they've sunk lower, and lower etc.
The extremely positive point in this one is that you and WT have that MS already shaking in his shoes. You will have some kind of revenge with that snake. I feel sorry for his wife, yet she is better off knowing.
My email is open hon. Just don't do anything rash. Think this one through and get that sniviling serpent on camera. We can't take away the pain of how your father was involved, so vent that one out hon. I wish I was closer to give you a big hug.

Those witnesses in the Philipines were people and regardless of whether they were in service or selling Avon - they did not deserve what happened. Unfortunately, that group is not known for letting people go. I feel very badly for the families of those killed and captured.
