  some of the poor girls were taken right from their beds.

  do you think there is more of this happening, or that it is just being reported now?

  Media point taken. Now has it affected your parenting? Do you find yourself watching/being suspicious of people in the neighborhood etc. ?

  Have any of you taken security precautions with your children be it a cell phone, a 911 phone, phone numbers and check in times etc? What about extra supervision?

  i have observed that posters have some neat formatting tricks.

  the things i have observed that i would like to know how they are done are: (1) highlighting text in different colors (2) importing running sites and displaying html files right in the post.

  Do you think there is more of this happening, or that it is just being reported now? Has the reports changed how you deal with your own children and others, as well as how you organize your day?

  Finding the monsters who do this keeps other children from being affected, but do you think there is any way of preventing this from occuring so frequently?

  Ash - apparently they found both girls on the property.

  The perv who did this will end up protected on Pervert Row just like the others. I want them all turned loose in the general inmate population so that they can experience what it's like to be prey before they die by inmate justice. (ironic that with pedophiles, inmates deliver better justice than any court does)

  was 2 other guys and myself in a car.

  so we take turns going to the door alone.

  Gawd these bring back memories. Ven - I broke into tears laughing at the pecker incident. Thanks for that!

  My stories are versions of what has already been shared except one. When someone mentioned cracking their head on the car getting in (or out) - ouch - memories! And the ice! The brothers had is so easy. Here the sisters were, in their 'dresses or skirts' and healed boots, sliding all over and landing... all over. Also had my share of dogs to deal with, mostly german sheperds. Sneaky creatures they are

  While I lived in Val Cartier, service was in French, so we had to try, learn etc. (damn near became bi-lingual there) It was all great until one sister, new, and during one of her first tries in french at the door, told the lady in french, that she was a prostitute. (householder, in disgust, slammed the door and we lost it) We spent the rest of the day at the coffee shop.

  two of the women had their hands tied: probably the wives of the two murdered witnesses.

  plans for action by the military in 2 or 3 days.

  I certainly don't want those being held captive to be hurt anymore than they have been but I think it's safe to say that the special force isn't going in for 'them'.

  This is only a snippit of the war on terrorism. Had this happened before 9/11, there would be no special force sent in.

  A very harsh reality. Abu Suyaff (sp) is wanted by the USA, and this is their chance to put some people in there. I'm not questioning their motives, only saying that those kidnapped are not the real reason for the deployment. If rescued, will they be thankful? Nah - Jehovah saved them. He only used the army. (rolls eyes)
