  (swinburne university) a diamond-crystal planet five times the size of earth and with more mass than jupiter has been.

  discovered in our own milky way galaxy.. an international team of astronomers led by swinburne university of technology in australia spotted the exotic planet racing.

  But, isn't it a "Wicked System of Things?"

  i am not a jw but one thing that they really get me on is when they call the outside world a "wicked system of things" and say it is run by the devil.

  i know the world can be great and people can be wonderful but on the flip side, the bad seems to be getting worse and morals seem to be flying out the window.

  i don't know, what do you guys think?

  Snakes = Married

  it has been over a month and a half since i have even been on the board, and that really only to ask about gps units (got a tom-tom) and mention the new job.

  way too busy with life - post jw now 4 years.. of course, the new job has benefits, health insurance, etc.

  (including unlimited use of the company car for personal use and the company pays for the unlimited gas for about a $25/week out of my check -- huge benefit) and this has enabled toni and i to finally after a two year engagement, to get married.

  is it wrong to pray to die

  It is not wrong to pray to to die, but it is not okay in the medical sense to feel that way if you are not physically sick. From someone that has suffered from depression and got medical help I'd advise you to go see a doctor as soon as you can and be honest to him. It is terapeutic to talk to others, Doc understand, also confront anything from the past that may be a factor, silence is gold but also a killer. Pray to God to send you divine connections into your life, believe, and you'll see that things start to happen, you will meet people, will find a book, see something. Believe!

  It is a pitty that the person you were studying was not that involved and didn't take you to a doctor herself/himself after finding out. You have issues you need to deal with, by cutting you are trying to cope or grief over something maybe, if there is nothing in your upbringing, childhood traumas, it may be a chemical imbalance.

  I live in Houston, TX ... if you need some kind of support, I am here ... I will lift you up to our Heavenly Father in prayers and supplications, I will ask that He appoints an Angel over you ...

  got chatting to an old jw friend last night that i haven't spoken to for years & caught up with a lot of old gossip.

  he is still active - high-up - knows the fault lines in the jw system but stays because he "doesn't know where else to go" & it works ok for him & his family.

  whatever floats his boat... anyway........he told me a piece of news that totally floored me.... a jw in london has run off with another sister & been dfd.

  Former JW Elder who sexually abused teenager gets only 6 months

  david nelson, a former elder at the madison park congregation jehovah's witness church in phoenix, admitted to authorities that he sexually abused a teenage boy on several occasions in the early 1980s.. with a confession from the suspect, it seems like a slam-dunk case but not for the maricopa county attorney's office, which brokered a slap-on-the-wrist plea agreement that nelson signed, the terms of which landed him in county jail for six months.

  in addition to the jail time, nelson was sentenced to three years' probation and must register as a sex offender.. when asked for an explanation of the seemingly light sentence, mcao spokesman jerry cobb told new times that among other reasons the victim in the case (whom we'll refer to as kevin) was okay with the plea agreement.that wasn't true.

  in fact, after learning nelson had pleaded guilty to two reduced charges not the six class-two felonies on which he was initially indicted kevin tried to commit suicide by shooting himself in the head just four days after nelson pleaded guilty.. "thirty-one days [kevin] had a tube down his throat [in the hospital following the march 12 suicide attempt].

  Would You Like To Know What Goes On At Elder's Meetings?

  have you ever wondered what goes on at an elder's meeting?

  after a prayer, the presiding overseer will state what the purpose of the meeting is.

  if it's a quarterly meeting, the elders will discuss the spirituality of the congregation, its spirit and any dangerous trends that may be observed.

  I like what you say that it is not about rebellion but living your life and that you still love God, the bible, etc. Keep these loves close to your heart, and don't stop praying because life is hard anyway and it is good to be connected to a Higher Power. It is not by conduct, or behavior that we are saved, it is by Grace, and Jesus didnot come to condem or judge the world but to save it. Don't you ever give up the love you feel for God no matter what other people may say ...
