gosh, I don't think the WCG and others have blood in its hands like the Watchtower Corporation for its blood doctrine ... it is a HUGE liability for them right now ... also sex abuse coverage ... at least here in the USA this type of lawsuits would really really damage it ... for this reason they will never put anything in writing as recanting their doctrines like the WCG, TBN, P.Robertson, etc., have done in the past.

Sky News emailed about UK charitable status
by cedars infollowing the recent breakthrough i have just sent the following email to sky news, expanding on the issue of the "mentally diseased" article to incorporate the issue of uk charitable status.
i feel this is a good angle to go at, because sky news tends to focus on uk economic policy issues quite extensively.
5 million per year in government gift aid being frittered away on a charity that condones breaking-up families and blocking medical treatment seems to me to be a newsworthy item.. here is the email.

Yeap New Chapter ... JWs as well as other "charitable" organizations should PROVE that they are in fact "charitable" organizations. With all the USA budget deficit, the government should look into all the SALES TAX they are loosing from so called "charitable" organizations that sell stuff and this is not only for JWs but any organization hiding under the "IRS" section 501(c)(3) umbrella.

Right wing Christian survivalists and Witnesses have the same view about the U.N!! Why?

the "new world order" and the u.n turning on "god's people" in the final battle of armagedon is a doctrine found in bethel new york.......and the back waters of utah, kansas etc where these militant christians bunker down and stockpile weapons for the "great tribulation.".
could this doctrine have been influenced by rutherford's and other members home towns?.

Local Needs: Low Hours
by breakfast of champions inthe local needs was about low fs time in the cong.
about 1/3 of publishers are averaging 4 hours per month.
that is unprecedented in our cong, a usually 'zealous' congregation.. my take is this: if you don't believe it yourself, why are you going to waste valuable time telling others?

They were never your friends Timothy ... they were your "spiritual brothers" ...When I was growing up I remember the difference it was instilled in me ... my mother, yes it is my mother but she became my "spiritual sister" aslo, my father became also my "spiritual brother" and so on with the rest of the family, and the "spiritual bond" takes precedent over any natural bond between me and my parents. The brainwashing tactics of the WTC are powerful and evil.

Gosh ... I have always been afraid of my mother ... she would be the first in line cheering anybody killing me, my sister, our children, and my brother who are not witnesses anymore ... she is the type of person that glorifies "godly hate" - sick, but she comes as "mother Teresa" to people little they know that she is a wolf disguised as a "sheep." I don't know if anybody can relate to this ... but it is true in our case.

After attending a financial seminar where they explain that the best way to hide, well "protect" the money is through charitable organizations, family foundations, etc, I have been wondering which family(ies) is behind the WTCrookporation ------ what things, project, lifestyles, wars, are being funded with money going to Watchtower ... Rutherford was a very clever guy ...

by TimothyT ini love being a christian and i deeply respect the teachings of jesus and i firmly believe that it is through faith in him that we recieve eternal life and salvation.. but what about everyone else?
islam, hindu, buddhist, etc?.
even as a jw i never believed that salvation was exlusively for jw's, but where do all other sincere worshippers of other religions fit in?
