Hi everybody. I hope all is well. Recently my uncle ( my mom's brother ) passed away, he was never a JW but evangelical Christian all of his life, never accepting my moms teaching. So my mom in Facebook keeps on making references to other family members when her brother comes back in the resurrection and live in the paradise ...I thought that worldly people who is not JW will not going to be resurrected .... What is the current teaching on resurrection for nonJWs?...

What is truth?
by Heisenberg inwell, i have been lurking on this site for several months and i recently decided to join as a member.
i have made several observations and would like to make a few comments.. first, i am perplexed by the attitude of many on this site that are either former or active (but apostate) jws.
they seem to have a strong hatred for the wts and also for rank and file jws.

Are you aware of all the obsolete books and magazines for which the watchtower made millions of dollars selling door to door? P L E A S E ,,, you call this preaching work ... Christians for hundreds of years have been using the bible only to preach the gospel and guess what still the same in December 23, 2014 , Christians don't have to play the new light card every so a couple of years ... Jesus the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Re Hostage victims killed in Sydney: "dont worry, at least they will NOW get a ressurection"
by stuckinarut2 inso most would now know of the vile act in sydney last week where a man held hostage over 17 people in the lindt cafe in the middle of sydney.. two people were murdered...a beautiful, educated lawyer,loving mother of three, and a brave, loving young man working as the cafe manager.. this senseless and cruel act has touched everyone deeply, especially in the communities of sydney.
the outpouring of grief and support for the victims and their families has been immense.. i was therefore outraged to have the following comment made by a witness in conversation at the kingdom hall:.
"well, we dont need to be sad, because at least now they (the two victims) will get a ressurection.

Some people does not understand the grade of brainwashing going on in this cult where parents are so brainwashed as to not to protect their own children but a CORPORATION ... my niece who was abused as young as 5 years old told me she never told anyone because no one would believe her and she knew she had to have witnesses ... her dad was an elder so she new the regulations very well but looking at how her dad handled the congregation affairs ...
Please do not feed he indulgence of some people trying to protect taht CORPORATION in disguise ... wants to make me vomit ...

New here and having ah ha moments!

i've been having health problems for the last few years and instead of any help, i'm listed as spiritually weak and of course associations is only my kids and husband.
all the good jw's have moved to other congregations and are doing well.

My own daughter has much suffered; she will get justice in due time.
by TheFadingAlbatros injust learned today direct from my beloved daughter that she has been abused between 5 and 12 years old by 2 brothers (her own cousins) and 1 family "friend".
she has attempted suicide a few days ago.
luckily she is living and she is not physically injured.

So sorry. I went through that with my own niece. Abused during the same age by a JW woman. when she was able to tell me, I am her aunt, she ended up in a psychiatric hospital also due to the PTSD For a week. It took a few months for her to get stabilized. I will be praying for your loved one and you. If you need someone to talk to inbox me. Recovery period is hard, the grief they go through is intense but althouh it seems unbearable at times it will get better and the episodes of PTSD will be shorter. caregivers need to be very careful not to leave them alone. And be there to listen to everything they have to say ... all blocked memories come out like a tsunami to your frontal lobe and you need to be there like if you would be with someone giving birth ... all suppressed memories need to be processed - come to front of brain - to be able to heal. My niece was 18 when she told me. I am happy to report that at 23 now she is fine now.
