Xander, that's an interesting idea, but I prefer the pointless slaughter of bots in a storyless context.
But seriously, it is too complicated for me.
wow... i was stunned when i saw this.

i'm working with bill bowen on a couple things and he and i .
are discussing through emails some points in the movie, matrix.
watched it again the other day, and still i'm stumped.
syn,
1. Oh, I get it. *slaps forehead repeatedly against wood surface*
And as for Morpheus, I meant flying around in his hovercraft. You're right, Neo is the only one capable of flying in the Matrix itself. And any friend of the matrix is a friend of mine! Can't wait till Reloaded and Revolutions next year... and the Animatrix. *drools*

SYN,
1. Not just the young people, though. The pods in which the humans were placed are all filled with the same goo... liquified corpses.
3. Morpheus wasn't the only one flying around helping people out of the Matrix. More talented, maybe. But not the only one.
When there's something about the Matrix going about, I just HAVE to pop in my 2 cents. Repeatedly. Naggingly. Obssessively. ...
wow... i was stunned when i saw this.

while it is not impossible to have a happy marriage in the jw religion for many it is hard, for some it is very hard to maintain happiness in their marriage.
the watchtower raises the bar so very high in every aspect of life, marriage included.
the watchtower literature encourages a jw married couple to be practically perfect, or at least that is the goal set before them.
Well, my parents have a happy marriage, and so does my sister, but from what I've heard from my two cousins, my uncle and aunt aren't as lucky. During a heated discussion with my disfellowshipped cousin, he told them that the JW policies are responsible for their less-than-perfect marriage. From what I've heard, he said something like "If you weren't JW's, you could have dated other people, and could have had more chances of having a happy marriage." Needless to say they didn't comment on that one.
However, I must insist that my parents and sister are happy with their marriage. There are some misfires, but not all miss the mark...

1. Old people were liquified and fed intraveneously to the living... (remember that little baby with liquid surrounding him? Or Neo waking up in a sort of gluey liquid? Yummy.)Oh, and before I forget... logically speaking, the ratio of people dying and people being born would be unbalanced, and so therefore simply using liquified corpses as nutrition for the living wouldn't be sufficient. Therefore, the dead were used as nutrition supplements, in a manner of speaking. So what else did they use to feed the living? Hopefully something less repulsive.
2.Neo is the One, therefore he is able to free his mind to a much greater level than the rest... even more than Morpheus. He is capable of seeing the Matrix code itself, even capable of manipulating it.
3.Morpheus wasn't the only one freeing people... i guess that would be a popular apostate, such as Ray Franz. (I hope I got his name right..lol)
4.The worldwide association of Apostates. Nah, jw.com.
5.I don't get it...
Hope this helps....

we are going to have an extensive article in the new york times this sunday.
there is an early addition that comes out in most cities around on saturday.
i encourage one and all to get your copy and do not miss the important piece of history.
Is there any possibility of receiving the New York Times in Canada? In Quebec? In this podunk little town?
And by the way Mr. Bowen, congrats. Getting in the NYT is one helluva achievement.
.
okay you know: i am confused and need some wisdom.

Hmmmm..... what cities could I test this on....
here is what this "special topic" describes with deadly false propaganda.. "a person might ask why we would single out the witnesses in this matter.
as with other fundamentalist cults, the watchtower goes by the bible advice only when it comes to exposing crimes regarding children or anyone else, that there must be two or more witnesses to a crime.
since abuse and molestation are rarely seen by anyone other than the perpetrator and the victim (and the victim will rarely testify against himself), perhaps hundreds or thousands of cases have gone unpunished, and the perpetrator has not been brought to the police, and the congregation has not been told.
All sins can be washed clean in the blood of the lamb.
Thank God for that. Now I can go back to spanking my monkey. My naughty, naughty monkey.

for those of you who may be noticing my absence from this board for the next 8 weeks, take note that i'll be working as a summer camp monitor during that time.
believe me, i couldn't be farther from a computer where i'll be working.... take care,.
For those of you who may be noticing my absence from this board for the next 8 weeks, take note that I'll be working as a summer camp monitor during that time. Believe me, I couldn't be farther from a computer where I'll be working... Thanks for the good times, the support during the bad, and the playful times in between. Reborn, refiners, prisca, concerned mama, and many others... I'll be thinking about you and your friendship and your valued advice. I may be able to pop in during the weekends, but believe me, I'll probably be having some more relaxing time by myself.
Take care,
j
