Josephus and Jesus

on another thread wot i read a few days ago and can't remember which one, someone asked why josephus never mentions jesus .

at the time i had no knowledge of this so kept quiet .

however today while reading an excellent book (don't know if i should advertise but if anyone wants the title let me know ) i have found out that josephus mentions jesus in around about manner.

I know this might sound funny, but Mary is pretending to be a witness! I met her at a Kingdom Hall.

Then why does nobody else know about this?

If Mary is still alive and 2 millenia old then how is it that no great grandparents, then grand parents, then parents, and now children ever stopped and wondered why this super-dubette looks the same now as she did 80-100 years ago?

Honestly, you scare me. People who imagine such elaborate delusions need help. I'm not saying this to shame you. It's like any other disease that requires medical professionals to treat. You should get yourself help before you or innocent people get hurt.

Searii, as most know here, I do NOT believe that Genesis referres to a single GLOBAL flood the covered ALL the plaent Earth.
I was just curious as to how valid this "population argument" is.

Gotcha. I won't comment on that as I have no idea what is considered "normal" population growth.

The flood of Noah's day was not a global event and the bible does not claim it was.

YouTube Series on Salvation and what it actually is for JW's, Mormons, SDA

thank you for taking the time to check out my post,.

i wanted to bring a series of youtube videos to anyones attention that has interest in learning about salvation through the lord jesus christ in contrast to what the watchtower, mormons, sda, baha'i and other similar legalistic works based relgions teach.

i think it would be beneficial for ones who may be questioning or want to be better equiped in reaching jw's with the gospel message.

The cult allowed them to study the Bible with the understanding that the Witnesses would not force them to leave the cult.

So, if you are in a religion that allows you to freely study the bible with people of another religion that's a cult.

But if you're in a religion where you will be excommunicated and shunned for studying the bible with someone of a different religion that's NOT a cult?

Uh, ok.

i know we have a few young earth creationists here.

i wondered what you understand about dinosaurs and when they existed, as well as hear from those that believe dinosaurs lived millions of years ago and how it fits into the bible..

Its safer that way - information that contradicts our treasured beliefs can be bloody irritating.

If you don't believe then you don't believe. Why would I waste my time trying to convince you? The world doesn't revolve around you, ya know.
