Paul did take notes. He wrote 13 letters detailing his preaching work.
LOL. Oh how the mind can bend in order to support that which one wants to support.
today's london times reports on the july ruling of the eu court that forces the organisation country to comply with data protection.. the action originated in finland but the ruling will affect every eu country.
the cult tried unsuccessfully to argue that the notes taken by jws in the door-to-door work were personal and not accessed by the congregation.
the court ruled that they are acting under the auspices of the congregation and therefore they must comply with data-protection laws.. keeping lists of do-not-calls also falls under this ruling.. why does the cult always feel that it is above the law?.

Since going door to door is neither biblical nor is it effective, why not simply cease the practice and save everyone a lot of wasted time, money, and annoyance.
Then this whole issue resolves itself.
when i was a full-on believing jw i had an obsessive fascination with mormonism.
i read, studied and watched their propaganda with strange interest as well as their apostate mormon books.
i have to say, they have a good scam going claiming that "the lord reintroduced tithing" in the modern age.
Sanchy,
Calm the heck down. Re read my post. I said “it stands to REASON”, meaning, you can draw a logical conclusion. I didn’t make a factual statement. I also used the word “probably”, meaning I am speculating. I am happy to admit that.
Thank you.
How very Watchtowerian in wordage.
did anyone have problems with their parents and teachers butting heads on the jw 'rules' we as kids faced when going to school.
extra circular activities, sitting out for birthdays and holidays... ect.. the jw that raised me was quite a vocal, loud, sometimes violent tempered person and there were many clashes with my teachers.
thank goodness the superintendent took me under his wing, his wife and him for a while.
In my experience, although this was decades ago, the teachers all understood that these things were not of my doing and that I was held hostage by my parents' bad decision-making. To my knowledge, there were never any conflicts between my parents and school officials.
i would like as many people that can, to respond to this appeal as i am sure their are many examples out their that may help lurkers and fence sitters to make a decision on where they stand regarding the "truth".
i look forward to your comments either negative or plus..

Why did 3 people downvote Doubter? His comment was not controversial at all and he backed it up with solid proof that the UN's library is not, in fact, open to the public. What the heck is your problem, people?
https://www.jwfacts.com/watchtower/united-nations-association.php
"In a letter to the Branches, membership was explained away as the Watchtower's research department requiring access to United Nations library, claiming that in 1991 it became necessary to register as an NGO to have continued access. It also claimed it left on learning the "criteria for association as an NGO's" had changed. A similar letter was sent to the Guardian."
The letter to the Guardian and to the Branches is quite untruthful. There was no change requiring NGO's to become associated in order to gain a library card. There are over 400 UN libraries worldwide that can be accessed by anyone. Since 1946, these libraries have had the same access rules, with no change in access requirements in 1991.
"Since 1946, the Dag Hammarskjold Library of the United Nations Secretariat in New York has arranged for the distribution of United Nations documents and publications to users around the world through its depository library system. At present, there are more than 400 depository libraries in over 140 countries maintaining United Nations material from the date of designation as depository to the present. The general public can consult the material free of charge at any depository library." www.un.org/Depts/dhl/deplib/deplibsystem.htm
Witnesses writing to the United Nations for clarification regarding library access have received replies such as the following letter. This letter explains that NGO status is not required in order to access the library.
***The letter from the UN states, and I quote below***
"The issuance of a library pass is independent of NGO status or any other status. There has been no change in the library pass policy in general"

Reading the contortions of someone trying to pretend that their leader has done nothing wrong is truly an amazing and sad sight.
Really, it is EXACTLY the same as political sycophants. You see the people online that, no matter what is presented, will absolutely refuse to admit that Trump/Obama/Hillary/Bush/whoever ever did anything wrong. It's the exact same thing.
It strikes me as how they always claim that the GB is just made up of "imperfect men", yet you can never get one of them to admit that the GB has done anything wrong.
my still in wife informed me this morning that she must be on time to the meeting as they are locking the door when it starts now.. i said that's crazy.
she said it's because of the times we are living in.. we live in a rural area and crime isn't terrible though it's worse than it used to be.. i told her if that's the way it is then why bother leaving the house at all?.
she said they are just trying to be safe.. is this a thing now?
My church does not lock doors during services. We do, however, have equipped people strategically placed.
Recently, I have been working with a couple others on laying out plans to help increase security further. Say what you will, and I'm no dub apologist by a long shot, but I prefer to do what I reasonably can to help ensure as much safety as possible.
have there been a gb in the organization before that like the 'spot light' as much as the current one?
they seem to be everywhere.
from broadcasting, to magazine and selfie jws post on facebook with them..
I'm sure a village is missing its idiot when Lett was made a GB member, WTF were they thinking!
I'll be honest. I am so glad that Lett and Morris are on the Governing Body (have to capitalize it because they're super important). People seeing those two guys removes all doubt about whether this could possibly be "the one true religion."
the watchtower is so short of money because they have to pay for all the upkeep of so many branch offices around the world.because so many of the branch offices are in very poor countries and they are not balancing the budgets.
It's hard to imagine the Watchtower not being flush with cash after all the sell-offs that have occurred in recent history.
But I admit I still don't understand the constant begging for money.
We know the various court cases have cost them some amount. How much, we can only speculate because the Watchtower hides its financial dealings from its members unlike many Christian churches.
Is it possible they took some gambles on some investments, possibly based upon bad advice and decided upon by people who don't know enough to be making such decision, and they're trying to recover? It would have to have been some SERIOUSLY bad financial decisions to account for all the money they have taken from their members.
Seems like the bean-counters are the only division within the Watchtower that doesn't have leaks. That actually seems even more suspicious to me.
did anybody see august 2018 broadcasting yet?
masionic rings always worn on the right hand little finger, these are gatekeep rings.. brother let shows his in a big way, and then the other old brother who was in prison in spain, when he tells his story they realy make a big deal on his gatekeeper masionic ring on his little finger of his right hand..
So why does Steven Let keep wearing this masonic ring on his right hand?
Maybe it's not a Masonic ring. Maybe he just wants to be a guido.
