unless you're still searching for "the truth", are you happy to know this "truth" is not even out there?.
Of course worship that caters to men's needs; like cults, money driven churches,
and incorporated religious systems do not have "the truth." So God is the ultimate
source of truth. By not allowing falsely indoctrinated men to intercede for us,
we are open to JC as our redeemer. This sets us onto the path to YHWH, not WTBTS.

It does drive them nuts to know that former members are leading happy productive lives,
outside the confounds of their brand of a "spiritual paradise." you know it every time they say:
"Bro./sis.___________ isn't doing anything bad, he/she just isn't serving Jehovah."
Then they start concocting plans on how to draw that person back, and drool over scoring
another Bible study to boost their image and increase their privileges.
Today theres a wide range of commentaries, out side of mainstream Christendom.
Several Bible Societies, Christian Book Publishers, and Theological Schools provide;
commentaries, Bibles, Bible Dictionaries, Bible Encyclopedias, Historical and Archaeological
Books that shed light more clearly than the powerful religious persuasions including WTBTS!

After a lot of bad things were done to all the members of our family, some of them sought out the Bethel office for answers. When none were given but the same scriptures used by the elders, one of us started researching the web. We pass the info. back and forth. We were amazed! Now only a few are trapped in the WT lies.
PS: Around 2000 plus, the mantra on the platform was: "The Society doesn't make a big deal over the Holocaust like the Jews do!"
seems to me that we're playing into the society's hands here.. 'apostate' is the most evil and vile word for jw's.
i suspect it's even more of a terrifying trigger word than 'satan' or "demons", for them.. the society gives us that label which they have negatively loaded in order to make it impossible for jw's to hear us or have anything to do with us.
the word is associated with other words like "poison" and "toxic", "disease" and "filth".. so what sense does it make to use it and allow the society to have it's way?.

i was inspired by a recent thread i know i aint gunna crumble the wt, but a girl can dream to look at the effect we as individuals are having on the watchtower society.. 3dogs1husband quoted a story to show that even helping only one person is worth it.. it is encouraging to note that the one person you may have helped has lead to millions being helped, due to the power of compounding growth.. compounding growth is well illustrated by the rice on a chessboard problem.
if you start with 1 grain of rice on square one, and double it to 2 on the second, 4 on the third, 8 on the fourth, by the last (64th) square there would be 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 grains of rice.. likewise, if you help one person out of the grip of the watchtower this year, then next year you help one more and they help one, in a few years that is going to have a formidable result on the number of jehovahs witnesses.

announce was made this week that the assembly halls in london, ohio and indianapolis indiana will be sold and a new 3000 seat assembly hall will be built in southwest ohio.
the assembly hall in london ohio was built in the 70's and is in fine shape - nothing wrong with it.
the new one will cost around 8-9 million.
Yes they do have those things there at that assy. hall.
More shocking still is that a few of the elders that went there have private collections.
One brings old pictures to the counter of a hall that he is visiting.
Another has a private museum above his man-cave, big screen TV-room in a two story garage.

Our big family knew witnesses from many districts and one things for sure,
"appointments" of a certain type are near at 80% in our area. The qualifications:
young, immature, sexually charged, clueless, yes men. Sorry if this is embarrassing,
but it seems to be the only ones that they can use or abuse now.
i have to hand it to the society.
they understand the power of organization.
they demonstrate that no matter how ridiculous your message and how much the facts don't support your position you can still accomplish a lot if you are organized.
The problem that a lot of us have is that when we went to religious meetings,
it formulated in our minds that we were in the "one true church."
But we realize that the GB was a discussion and prayer group, and the
apostles taught or traveled; the true Cong. is about "fear of God."
Any religion that's about false teachings, money or control; hasn't God's backing.
So if we're serious about helping others like us, then we should become part of
a group "worship"; not of men, Ecclesiastes, or corporations, but of YHWH.
It's been said that with all the studying for the meetings that JW's do,
there's little room for actual reading of the Bible. Of course from all of this,
their understanding is directed to wards WT theology!
Also, we've had some one in the family addicted to their magazines.
Why with all the candy coated photos, I too have read then for years.
They carefully blend historical facts with well contrived beliefs.
