Whenever we called out the elders for behaving badly they would use the same well polished phrase combinations at five of the halls we've been to.

"What was it that we elders did to make you FEEL like that?", "Just what did we do so that you FELT that way?", "When we told you that, how did it make you FEEL?", "If you would think back, you will find that there was nothing that I or Brother _____, said that should give you that impression!"

This is all psychological manipulation, to trick the mind of a person with legitimate concerns into not trusting their own judgment! It's a breach of trust for pastors over a flock to treat them in such a way. For this sort of condition to occur in a so-called religious organization amounts to "Religious Abuse"; a growing field in counseling for former cult and religious victims.

Cambridge: JW tries to entice 11 y. o. boy into having sex

a jehovah's witness who tried to get an 11-year-old boy to have sex with him turned himself in to police after being told to by counsellors.. cambridge crown court heard kirk lefcovitch, 25, had repeatedly asked the child to perform sexual acts, as well as handing him pornography and sex toys.. despite his admissions, and previous convictions against a boy aged 8 in 2000, he was spared jail.. sara walker, prosecuting, said: in december last year mr lefcovitch asked the 11-year-old to expose himself, and the boy refused.. the defendant then offered to show the boy his privates, to which the boy replied that he didnt want to see it.. he then showed the victim some porn and told him he wanted to have sex with him.. there were occasions when the two spoke on the phone, and mr lefcovitch also made inappropriate comments then.. the court heard that lefcovitch had made a full confession to police, who were previously unaware of the incident, after being advised to do so by a counsellor at cambridges centre 33 an organisation which gives advice to young people aged up to 25.. georgina gibbs, mitigating, said: it is a very rare occurrence for an offender of this type to put themselves at risk and report themselves.. the defendant has been receiving help from centre 33 and his jehovahs witness group.. he is trying to go down a different course in his life.

he has thrown away all his porn and has been deliberately excluding himself from activities which could have him in close proximity to youngsters.. lefcovitch, of the brook, sutton, was described in a pre-sentence report as a serious risk to children.. he has a previous conviction from 2000 for a string of sexual assaults on an 8-year-old boy.. judge anthony bate said: there was clearly an intention for the offence with the 11-year-old to go further than it did, but the prison sentences suggested in my guidelines would not be long enough for you to complete a sex offenders course in prison.. judge bate instead ordered lefcovitch to take part in the thames valley programme, which is a community sex offender group work course.. lefcovitch was also made the subject of a 3-year community order with supervision requirements, and he must pay 400 court costs.. source: http://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/home/religious-man-tried-to-entice-boy-11-into-sex-24082011.htm.

It just goes to show that a certified, trained counselor; that may or may not have any "church" affiliation can be trusted with this delicate, and important task.

This despite the fact that Watchtower's literature, and talks by their elders at their "kingdom" churches call all non-worshipers "worldly", and "wicked"!

Yet, there are many examples where non-jehovah's witnesses are more God conscientious, loving shepherds to people and obedient to the laws of the land.

The "spirit anointed elders" of the so called "Jehovah's Witnesses" of The Watch Tower Incorporated, are thusly proved to be false shepherds, and cultic shams!

sd-7's description of "SHEPHERDS" is realistic in our area.

At "bad congregations"; if your aware of their tricks, you'll realize that the whole BOE's are unloving cliques.

When you move to a regular congo, it looks like 2/ 7th's are these types, later you see it's 5/ 7th's .

Even in "nice congregations" where you meet the best loving elders ever, it goes from 5/ 7th's to 3/ 7th's .

Bu, t that was before the pedophile news was on public TV!

I wonder how those popular shepherds of example congo's look today?

Right before our family faded, the last four halls that we tried, the "SHEPHERDS" were looking deplorably sinister.

When ever comments were made about victims rights, or sympathy for victim's of abuse were made; a lot of evil stairs were made at the commenters.

i have done my bible research, i am not half done, but i have enough for now.1 corinthians 15:33 the word rendered "associations" is homilia, meaning company association intercourse companionship conversation.the word, according to my bible source, is not repeated anywhere.

so i looked up company first.

this is what i found.. 1 corinthians 5:9 "i wrote you in an epistle not to company (sunanamignusthai) w/ fornicators.

Our family believes that a bad associate is, on this excelling level:

1) In general; one who has unscriptural practices,

2) lives a double life; religious appearance, yet contrary to the Bible

3) religious hypocrite; knowingly supports hierarchal falsehoods, and misleading elders.

For these reasons and so much more, our family rejects all religious organizations.

We study at home like Jesus disciples, "the truth without hypocrisy"; the Bible not men!

that 99.9% of the worlds population is evil and will soon be destroyed by jehovah.

the governing body made up of 7 senior men in brooklyn new york are the divinely appointed spokesmen for god on earth today.. if you dont obey the governing bodys instructions and doctrines, you will die a violent death at armageddon.. that jesus is the mediator between god and man for only 11,000 people on earth today and some 133,000 others already in heaven.

the rest of mankind has to follow those 11,000 represented by the governing body to receive the benefits of the ransom.. christ invisibly returned to rule the earth in 1914 and satan was thrown to the earth at the same time.

Great write up; stuckinamovement ! Though I will comment on one point.

The Diluvian Event, as referred to by many scientists; is far from being buried!

Despite current findings being interpreted by bold geologists as anti-Noahchian,

there are still counter arguments in the scientific world. So before one gives up faith

in the Bible on something that the verdict is not in on yet;

one would do well to think about texts that are true to science.

Atheism is a common trap for victims of RTS ; "religious trauma syndrome",

and many who suffered "religious abuse can't get themselves to go back to church.

Allot of use here are like that, and hopefully we won't allow the WT to destroy our faith

in God all because WT said they were the truth!

Right BluesBrother ! The only time they miss us is when half the congregation is gone.

It was always hilarious to see their shock as they said: "Where's everybody at?"

"No one told me they weren't going to be here tonight!" "Was there a game this afternoon?"

"Did someone have a wedding at another hall?" "How come so many of the friend's are missing today?"

"Is it parent, teacher conference night at the public schools?" "Did everyone go on a vacation together?"

The terrified look on the faces of the elder's wives was also, priceless! Funny too was how

the MS's would hang their heads low while carrying the microphones during the meeting.

It was scary though; how the pioneers reared their heads in holy piety, like they never missed!

All during the meeting the elder's would encouraged the group to call those not there.

Then after it was over, start questioning all who hadn't run out the door by then!

This was standard far in some halls, and happened several times a year in the rest.

Getting rid of the Book Study - a way to isolate the JW?

the book study meeting was cancelled a while back.

the watch tower said that it was to provide for a family study night and high gas costs.

hmmm.. i thought about the cancellation of the book study meeting after listening to another pastor discus his mega-churchs dependence on small circle groups.
