I do think however that with freedom of religion there should come some reviewing of the tax laws.
People can still be free to worship whatever they want but when you slow down the money you cripple the more unpopular religions. Then they have to please their contributors to survive.

Great thread. I think somewhere in here is the factor that most people are the same religion as their parents.
This used to be remarkably true but now that the world is becoming more secular it is not happening as much.
It reminds me of food. People love the dishes they ate when they were children.
People crave that food all their lives. It doesnt matter if it is strictly not the tastiest or most palatable mentally.
It goes back in a far more primal way than that.
That is the way religion seems for a lot of JWs that learned it when children.

long story short she claims elders are generally hardier on women than men.
I think it has to do with type.
As mentioned above they will be hard on a strong woman or one who shows no fear of them.
A pretty young woman who cries and looks up to them and maybe "daddy" is one of them (elders) will fare better.
I think they are the absolute hardest on young men.
The only way to survive as a young man is to be thin, fair skinned, balding and brown nosing.
