those of us that have been part of this cult can verify that the woman has to carry out a series of practices that for the rest of society is somewhat incomprehensible.
i’d like to draw your attention to the act of head covering, if for any reason a woman has to pray in public while a male is present, who is not available to lead the prayer, she must cover her head because she wouldn’t be respecting the arrangement of authority if she didn’t.

Acts 15:22 Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, to choose men from among them and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They sent Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, leading men among the brothers (Gideon Bible in the glove box of new cars now. Not just in hotels )

Ha ha Smiddy!
I think I was born too early or something....if I hadn't left the Org in absolute disgust at the corruption, I could have had it so easy now!
I pioneered when it was 100 hours a month and our big "treat" was a week-long convention sitting out in the sun and getting a pocket-sized Crayola colored book to add to our other pocket-sized brightly colored books.
Now, I could sit at home in my PJs for the con(vention) and download and print my own stuff.
Good times for young JWs!

Some dubs have complained about receiving rotten food and not receiving the same (or close to) the amount that some others have received (i.e., elduhs, MSs, RPs, plus popular dubs getting the best poultry, seafood, pasta, desserts, etc., while non-populars getting rotten vegetables and very few canned goods). Although, the Borg is "providing" the above, there are always going to be folks who are taking this "endeavor" personally and give what they want to give to certain ones while others suffer. (Hopefully, the sufferers will wake up and eventually leave!)
It would be fun to call out the ones taking the good stuff and passing on just the wilted produce to others.
Something like " Do you think this was how the manna was distributed?"
When Revelation spoke of "new" scrolls being opened....would underhanded behavior towards lesser ones in the time of the end be something mentioned in those scrolls hmm?
Alright, I admit,,, I'm just having fun being sarcastic. - a trait of mine that was never fully appreciated in my time spent in the Org I don't believe.
P.S. I used to have a lot of interest in researching that particular bit of interpretive nonsense on the part of the FDS of those "new scrolls". I see we have an old thread on the topic here

It is definitely interesting times for sure.
I have a theory on leaders viewed through the lens of action versus reaction.
The pendulum swung far to one side with the election and 8 years of Obama. That may be what we saw contributing to the election of a completely oppositional president - manifesting in the form of Trump.
Whenever pendulums swing widely, it seems the next "requirement" is a "hero" to step forward. Then the pendulum stills itself at center.
Then given some time, the entire process begins again.
So far we dont know who could fill that "hero" role as far as I can see, do we?
It would need to be someone both highly polarized sides could see as having leadership potential, so that must mean that it will have to be someone who is a very conservative liberal or a very liberal-conservative. Someone young perhaps (like a JFK type?)
Another question for people sharper than myself....how will this be achieved?
Will it have to wait another 4 years through the election process and until then the pendulum unrest continues with each side jockeying for power?
Will it be through assassination thereby catapulting a Vice president into that "hero" role?
Will who Biden picks as VP play a role in that determination?
This is all starting to look like a big chess game.

Its a virus.
It's running its course.
We are getting to herd immunity.
We are doing what all the other countries have done with some individual variations and they have different governmental systems than us.
It's an apolitical virus.
