Another saying that just came to mind while I was typing this is the old adage "Hold your friends close and your enemies even closer."
The virus has made everyone tense. I try to keep that in mind.

have all contributed to information burnout.
If you look at the numbers of people on information platforms watching coverage (speeches) on the virus the numbers have crashed. No one cares anymore.
For better or worse the truth is people are tired of it all.
Where I live there are almost zero masks in evidence despite a mask ordinance being in place.
