The US certainly would not (intentionally) put our own troops in that kind of danger (or am I being naive?).
Oh ya? Guess you didn't hear about all the people that died from exposure to the spent uranium shells, while they were cleaning up the friendly fire accidents.

I think the men and women on the front line of battle are brave, not bush, bush has never seen combat, and you call him brave, I think your the one that needs to get a grip. Democracy? Why shouldn't I overestimate the fallout? What makes it better to underestimate death and destruction? Do you wish to commit slow suicide? Another angle, since the gulf, and afghan wars, there has been friendly fire, every war in fact. How would you feel if say if there was a friendly fire accident with one of these things? How do you think the world would feel then? You UK folks out there, how would you feel if bush nuked your troops, "accidently".

Borg, TR, what makes you think it's ok to release fallout into the air, and kill thousand of innocent people, if not more, just to get some men in a bunker? How is that different then, what the JW religion preaches?

You have to really wonder about people, that would even advocate the use of nuclear weapons for any reason. I cannot fathom why anyone would want to kill innocent people, by nuking a bunker, because of the fallout. Ya they maybe in a bunker, so invade the country, wait till they come out, then get them. I would not want my children to be around such a person that would advocate using nukes. Who knows how this person reacts to stress, I mean putting more radioactive material into our atmosphere is just sick and wrong, it affects the entire planet. People this is not a video game!
