00DAD My picture is misleading it is my husband who is being Mindf***ed. I yelled while reading the article on the overlapping generation? So is it rape in my case? Is my husband a victim of homosexual gangrape since the GB are all men and there a group?

Is it invisble when the mindf***ing is being done by visible literature & videos. The invisible explanation only makes sense in regards to the audio recordings? I appreciate your clarification in these matters.

Cedars thanks for this post also. This is another article I am dreading. We know these things are nothing new but I feel they're going to come around more often than they use to. I think of all the baptized young ones who love & want to please their parents. This is to instill the fear of WTB$ in them. They're bieng reminded that there parents are to cut them off. If they leave there is no one for them.

I hate how they bring they the child is leaving because he is preferring the temporary enjoyment of sin. There is no other reason a person would leave.

Let's not forget the simplified version of of these aricles where the pictures are twice as big and it's made easier to understand. I don't care what they say this simplified version ia obviously made to indoctrinate the children better.

38 john said to jesus, teacher, we saw someone using your name to cast out demons, but we told him to stop because he wasnt in our group.

There are so many scriptures JW's gloss over for instance...

What about John 17:11,12? NWT
“Also, I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world and I am coming to you. Holy Father, watch over them on account of your own name which you have given me , in order that they may be one just as we are.When I was with them I used to watch over them on account of your own name which you have given me ; and I have kept them, and not one of them is destroyed except the son of destruction, in order that the scripture might be fulfilled.

The few times this scripture is mentioned in JW lit they skip over this part.

WasBlind points out Acts 1:8 where Jesus said " ...You will be witnesses of me.." at John 17:11,12 Jesus said God gave him his name so why if the bible Students were Christians did they go into the Hebrew scriptures to find a name? Why not something that reflects the authority given Christ over his disciples? Or could this scripture help explain why the name YHWH is not found Matthew - Revelation? Jesus was to be "the way", that's why God said "this is my son listen to him."

Another point I don't get John 17:19 says NWT "And I am sanctifying myself in their behalf, that they also may be sanctified by means of truth."
Why does Christ sanctify himself (make himself holy, sets himself apart) if this is Jehovah's job? They don't touch this scripture either.

didn't believe in hell and other traditional christian beliefs that he grew up around.

so he read a lot, and got exposed to a lot of ideas.

ok, so the one scripture that supports the "overlapping generations" doctrine is the one about joseph having brothers, right?.

well, then, logically, if that scripture buttresses the glorious new light - and we know how long that "generation" was - we should be able to calculate the date for armageddon, no?.

allowing for a maximum period starting with the year of the birth of the eldest brother (reuben if i'm not mistaken), and ending with the year of the death of the youngest (benjamin, correct?
