Leavingwt- Thanks for the advice I'm trying to be considerate of his feelings. He's said my love & zeal for Jehovah is what attracted him to me. He feels like our foundation is gone since we always emphasized the spiritual. I just want him to know my love & zeal for God & truth is still there just in a different light

Billie Jean = false accusations I know a young brother who was accused of fornication by the mom of the sister he was dating. The mom trashed her own daughters rep trying to discredit him.
Thriller in the beginning Michael is really enjoying a scary movie something denied us as JW and the girl leaves. I've been in that situation on both sides.
The rest of the video and song make me think of the whole confession, witchhunt process of a Judicial Committee and how every one turns on you

i am begging for some much needed encouragment and support by those who are kind hearted and know exactly the pain shunning causes.

Well my hubby apologized he said the freeloading thing out of anger proceeded to make love to me.
Our relationship is so manic right now. He doesn't know what to feel. This morning he begged me to reconsider. I told him I was taught to stand up for Jehovah and my loyalty is to God & his Son not a man made organization, God as ruler rather than men.
I keep asking him how does he explain my happiness & peace of mind from the time I stopped believing this is the true religion. I'm more spiritual since not less. I have never felt this complete. So if your views are correct I willingly sacrifice everlasting life for peace of mind and the happiness of my family now.
Right now in the cong. I have been compared to judas because I hugged & kissed people before I gave them the letter.
So he is in turmoil

were you made to feel guilty if you missed a meeting / service ?

i'm sort of hitching along here.. we had a bookstudy at our home for several years, every week we were prepared, and we handled service arraingements every saturday morning, even with two young children.. one saturday morning, ( in the middle of winter) one son had a bad cold, and our furnace konked out around 8:15 am.. i was running around trying to get ready for service, calling a repair man, and help my wife get ready for service.. the group comes in at 9:00, and i'm on the phone talking to the repair man who wants to come out between 10-2.. so i'm not going out this morning, and i'm staying home with my sick son, wife and son #2 are going out in service.. conductor comes downstairs and looks at the furnace ( he is a school teacher, no mechanical experience at all, check out my earlier thread video under friends, page 5827 titled "elder makes a video,,,, this is the same guy ) and gives me the classic guilt trip because i'm not going out in service for at least an hour this morning.. i remember thinking just who is this guy, trying to make me feel bad because my family is #1, service is not my focus today.. after all of these years, i cannot help but think of this comment now :.

It had been alluded to before in the past that reformers were likely of the anointed. They are trying to fill in the numbers so that the present one is insignificant since they are loonies who got baptized while still holding on to false religious ideas.
