JW's are they worse then any other religion????

I think that the JWs are worse than most religions and the reason for this is that it totally robs you of your life. It does this in many ways
1) Taking all your time for your children and for yourself.
2) Taking any friendships and memories you could have had with
relatives that aren't witnesses.
3) Robbing children of a normal childhood
You know if I had to list all of them I would still be typing in the morning. But this shows enough. -

I think I choose it because it stands for death. I feel that I am dead to the org and believe that all religion is dead to me. So I guess that it does have some psychological significance.

Is God real to you?
by alias inin a recent topic someone mentioned how much they have drifted from god since they "left the jw's.".
as someone brought up in the org (inactive for several years)i have found this to be similiar in my case.
i don't know how much i believe the fan/plug analogy (remember that in the live forever book?

I agree with Danny. If there is a God he has a lot of explaining to do. I have done a lot of research on the subject of the divinity of the Bible and so far from what I have learned the Bible started of in the OT as a collection of stories written by ancient tribes about their different Gods. Two in particular. It's very noticeable in the beginning of the Bible that God is a very jealous and exacting God and also a kind and compassionate God. Either he has multiple personality disorder or their are two distinct Gods. I read a very good article written about the origins of the Bible and Christianity. I thought I would introduce myself. I am 24 years old and was raised a Jehovah's Witness. Five years ago, while inactive, I accidently found Freeminds.org and immediatly dismissed it. One year ago I finally went back to the site and started investigating. I'm now totally free of the org and happy.
