  i have pioneered every time i possibly could, gave talks... i was a good jw!

  but for over 40 years, i had nagging doubts about the character of god.

  to make a long story short, i'm now a happy atheist!

  A little annoyed at a thread that tried to disprove the WTS with a bunch of scriptures, and lauding the Bible, here's what I answered.
  Yeah - I was pissed...
  
  " Well. the WTS is certainly a bunch of unbiblical mind controlers - but the Bible itself is a load of crap anyway. Nobody in their right mind today, would approve of the morality of a god that uses Genocide, slavery, and stoning to impose his despotism - let alone sacrifice his own son for a protocol he created himself!

  Biblical Support For Having the Pioneer "Ranks"

  even if you don't agree with it, could someone please provide the wt references that show biblical support for it?

  i remember a long time pioneer saying that pioneering mirrored something in ancient israel, like the levite class or something.. .

  just like in another thread a saw, the best way to deal with my jws is not debating or arguing, but instead posing questions for them to answer or not answer.

  i want to come up with specific questions relating to the 'global flood' that completely debunk it.

  This has worked wonders for me. Way to see the forest instead of concentrating on the individual trees...

  Question -- If God is love and almighty, why didn't he just erase (disintegrated) the wicked, hence not forcing the babies and children suffer horrid drownings? Clean and simple.

  PROS: He would have never regretted ruining the planet; no wasting time building an ark (leaving more time for Noah to preach the word); no silly animal story that would be easily debunked later (cf: the marsupial issue); and Noah and his family would have still seen the power of God, while God would have proven he takes no pleasure in suffering.
  
  CONS: None.

  //I was actually in the Natural History Museum, looking at the mammoth and mastadon display, a display of Lucy was just a few feet away, a case with primitive human skull casts was right next to her, huge dinasour fossils loomed over my head--it was the perfect moment, in the perfect place, and I was able to just stare at everything and take in every detail in deep and quiet thought! It was like church, LOL.//
  
  How I relate to that moment, where I felt I was finally ''home''... overwhelmingly blissful.

  Can someone please explain why I'm NOT DF'd yet???

  i have been sending one "apostate" email after another to an elder in my congo (who frequently does circuit and district convention parts) and i'm still not df'd.... i've even sent him a free pdf copy of "crisis of conscience" twice in the last 3 months (sorry cynthia franz), as well as emails about the whole spectrum of bullshit (607, 144k, 1935, blood, proof of lies, false predictions, etc...).

  he vary rarely responds but i know he's reading them because he said so in a recent google chat.... he even acknowledged that the wt got 607 wrong but then says that i should look at the positives and stop finding fault.... but still... i sent some really strong gb-bashing emails and i'n not df'd.... i mean seriously, i've pushed the envelope as far as i possibly can.. what the hell is going on???

  Duane Magnani and the "no meetings" child custody injunction

  i talked to duane and he mentioned that due to the abundance of damning material he has on file that can be used in a court against the society....it is not uncommon for the society to coerce the "believing" parent into signing it.

  it is basically an injunction that says that the "believing" parent is not allowed to take the kids to any meetings or discuss any society based beliefs with them at all until the children are of "legal" age.

  based on the litany of info against them......evidently the society gladly coerces the "believing" parent into signing it.....even though they know it means that the "little sheep" (the children) will be kept away from the meetings.
