But the JW's I know are starting to give way to doubt, as they should. The easy online access to the older books are prompting many blogs and discussions that reveal the obvious... the WTS is not priviledged with any Holy Spirit.
So I dunno... we'll see I guess. -

Akin to Harold Camping, they have continuously changed their story claiming "new light."
Consequently -- can we find biblical reference to support the Organisation's claims?
No.
Name ONE prophet in the Bible, who has changes his story claiming "new light!" Add to that, the ridiculous fact that this new light always comes hindsight! Laughable, no? So check it out -- no prophet has been this wrong and fickle on dogma. In fact, Deutoronomy 18:20-22 condemns the 'false prophet' to death. Read that scripture slowly, and reflect.
So here's my cue to comments, is the WTS and the JW's going to collapse in 2014, when it will be clear that they have been feeding us bullshit for the past century?
* I imagine that they will have to make HUGE changes to keep the sheep following. My guess is that disfellowshipping and the blood issue will have to go first, if they want to keep a semblant of a following. -

I was a zealous proclaimer, for over 30 years, with a special interest in my personal study.
I DO NOT understand, how some of you go from one religion to another! I'm an atheist, and has become one first by studying my Bible. How anyone who REALLY knows Jehovah thru scripture, can love this monster is beyond me. His "son" (or him as the son) is irrelevsant to the sheer abusive parent He is.

I argue that those of you who are still in Religion, are still brainwashed by the WTS, and are just deflected your wishful thinking to another organisation.It's very, very sad. I would suggest trying reason, logic, evidence-based proof, and science. The REAL truth will indeed set you free.

Recent JW funeral - with picture of "Resurrection Center"?

first off, i must emphasize she was a beautiful jw with a genune loving heart, who 'refused' to "cut off" a former jw sibling and some us extended family who are also former jws.
she came to a few gatherings, being totally loving and fun, never bringing up any jw issues or quips.

Yeah -- that was dumb. This said, it's fair-game, since this is what they believe...
The way the funeral was held seems very loving. She reminds me of my mom... so passionate about the truth, but has never shunned me for being an "apostate". We avoid religion talk, but when we do, she listens and argues with kindness (as do I).
I'm an atheist now. A very happy one at that. -

by lilbluekitty ini just recieved a "care package" from my mother (i'm inactive, haven't been to a meeting in a few months but haven't specifically said to her that i don't want to be a jw anymore) and in it, among other things, are 2 new brochures (one is simplified) called listen to god and live forever.. has anyone else seen these?
i think you can get them in pdf form on the jw.org website.
has anyone else noticed some of the weird pictures?
