Thanks J2bf! I will definitely keep everyone posted. The London Free Press wants to do a major article on the short film and then one when it is completed. Also Scene magazine might make it a cover story. Very shortly I will be posting all updates on my web site! (www.fatherstouch.com)

Hi Utopian, hey, Maurice will not reconsider..you should have seen his face when I suggested it...even when the documentary filmed here for a month, he wouldn't go on camera, even though he was in the apartment.
Then when the filmed my book reading, he sat in another section way away from my family so the camera wouldn't catch him...he's funny!
Anyways, the short film will be enterred into film festivals! Cool.

If Kimberly Locke wins American Idol, I will be jumping up and down...She can sing different styles...even most of the best singers have bad days!
Not that I wouldn't be happy Reuben or Clay would win! Come to think of it, look at last year's two finalists...they're making love in a movie...
Hey if Clay and Reuben are the top two, we could see the same...hee hee LOL
PS. Perhaps Clay and Josh would make a cuter couple (I know I'm impossible; I'm gay, it goes with the territory!) but then again, Josh, bores me to tears!!!! Ryan(the host) and Clay could make a cute couple!

Celine has a god-given voice in my opinion...just because some of her records are over-produced doesn't change the instrument!
I think she's so big now, she doesn't have people who will be brutally honest with her..like,
don't cut your hair,
you're not a blond,
eat a burger, why don't you (although I think she is naturally thin)
Actually I'm joking here, we put too much weight on appearance...I think she needs honest people to tell her about her stage presence style (I agree Mulan); get rid of the jump suit already...we don't pay 150$ to see Celine in a jump suit!!!
Ps. Tracy, I'm going to Vegas end of May...if I can get bottom price good seats ie. a deal; I'll come back and review it...but I'm not paying full price for that show!!!

I am adicted to American Idol...
you both thought Rickey should get the boot!! You are KIDDING! He sang beautifully...it's Corey that need a ticket home...
I agree Julia did a wonderful job, her best yet...I think Kimberley's makeup was running because she was shocked by how close she was to the hook, more than sorrow for Julia's exit..did you see way back how Kimberley wouldn't rehearse with Julia...the little diva!
I love Simon, Paula buggs me but I still like her (she could only dream of singing as good as those youngins) and Randy should stop calling people dogs (I know he is harmless)

Thanks Chris...I wrote the concept and I will be playing myself. It is a short film without vocals, made up of images in my book. My mother, father and partner will be played by actors as well as a young version of myself. I wanted my partner to play himself but he said, NO WAY!
It should be really cool!

Thank you one and all for your support!
The other news I have is that the W Network has made their Family Secrets Documentary series into 2 seasons so our episode won't air until the fall...but that is good...with the war on, who would watch it?
Anyways this delay reminded me of what everyone went through when Dateline NBC delayed (I think if I remember) the JW show...
But I think it's a good thing...

LB, hey I luved your posts!!! You rock...always honest, supportive, encouraging. You were straighter than straight in more ways then one.
I hope after you take a well-deserved break, you come back and share your experience and wisdom again!
I've been threatened with a punch and other such ridiculous things on this forum...I just yawn and move on my merry, gay way - take a few days off, then check it out again. Works for me...you, you do what you gotta do, but...
Now, come back now, ya here!!

My friends and I have an ongoing debate about this.
I think her voice is amazing, and we're going to Vegas in May and thought about seeing her show...but you know what, after seeing the special the other night, we're going, 'She rehearsed a year in Belgium for THIS!'
Although her voice is pitch perfect, it came across a little weird to me...the dancers trying too hard to involve the audience...everything was too much...too much of Celine's jump suit that wouldn't stay up...too much running around the stage, too big of tv screen...I love her but not $100+ worth.
I saw Cher in October and that was one of the best shows I've seen in my life.
