  Stop fighting about Oompa.

  i am writing this because i am so upset about the bickering and fighting that is going on about oompa.

  this was an amazing wonderful, peaceful, giving man who never met a strager who is now deceased and you are taking his name and running all over the place with it using it for your own agendas.

  he is not a statistic.

  i didn't know eric particularly well, and i feel terrible that i didn't reach out to him more or try to help him while i still had the opportunity.. i feel extremely helpless, but the least i can do is help others remember him who knew him better.. here is a video i've uploaded to youtube in his honor.... .

  I think Eric would have been very happy for someone like aguest to take up the fight against the WTS on his account and to focus on bringing their cruelty to the fore.

  people respond in different ways to grief and there is also a place for the fighters for justice

  oompa was very self distructive we all know that and it may be a relief for family members who are mourning to acknowledge this aspect in order that they don't blame themselves. I also agree with NN that the recession had something to do with pushing Oompa over the edge. But ontoh the WTS is very cruel to those who are suffering any kind of illness.

  Most here have probably been offering oompa wordless support as often there isn't anything one can say other than to feel for the person. so i don't agree with Nathan when he says we are hypocrites

  loubelle I feel for you. sounds like you are in a terrible place.

  recently a friend of mine has been talking a lot about suicide but they present a happy face in public. I intend to take that person more seriously than I have done in the past.

  bi polar disorder sounds like a terrible form of mental illness and I wonder if it can actually be recognised sufficiently to be treated effectively.
