  i should clarify, i am new at posting, not new to the board.. i've been checking in for a short time now.

  "spying", "lurking", whatever you would like to call it.

  but i thought it was time to come out of the "first closet" i've been in for more than 20 years.

  ozziepost just posted concerning the may 15 watchtower about attending a funeral in a church.

  because my subscription for the watchtower has discontinued, i called the local kh and asked them to deliver the watchtowers to me.

  this is not in the area of where they know me, but i hope none of them recognize me when they come by.

  Losing my Religion......

  well at 29 years old, after a lifelong relationship/belief in/association with a higher power i called god, here i am very close to taking an athiestic or agnostic approach to the rest of my life.

  it really hit me the other day although my doubts have been there but i just have been forcing myself to ignore them because i was afraid to give up that religious part of me because its all that i have ever been and i was afraid of the unknown.

  but i realized after getting through another one of those weeks from hell that it makes no difference how much i pray or how much i believe.

  I dont have a religion GD. But I do feel I have a relationship.But I found your info interesting.I wonder how Runyon is doing today A Believer or not??-many atheist become believers when they are faced with death. But thanks for the book report.

  i'm a jehovah's witness who's doubts about god have been kinda forced to front by some adulterous acts on my part.

  i don't really feel the the jw's are dangerous presently, at least not any more than any other religion.

  i do feel the urge to free myself from it and my marriage within the week.

  Welcome Maxwell- Sounds like your on a good track. I too dont think you should confess anymore than you have. Just give the elders something to share with their wives, & the wives to share with their "friends' .Just talk it over with the one that matters, Wife & God.

  Flower. Sorry to read the hard times your having...Dont fret about weather God is there or not. Just try to cope with every day. You were "upbeat" when you first found out the Borg was not the truth.But now you realize there are lots of differant veiws out there,your not sure "were to go"Just get through your settling in your new apartment.
  Keep looking after that sweet little boy of yours( I do hope he is feeling better today)in time ..(after the rough times are over)you will be able to access what you believe.It isnt critical to have it all together.Look at me, A real dodo!! Just remember you are blessed
  however you look at it. A clean bed. a job, a wonderful little fellow to care for.& friends who really do care,Look at what is going on over seas. I cant give you answers to WHY! but I think I can say (or I believe) this too will pass ( what your going through). Hang in there sweetie (((((Hugs)))))))Grace

  Need Help

  i was baptized in 1988. i'm trying to find the questions that were asked just prior to baptism that all the candidates said "yes" to.

  according to the wt cd of 1997, that info is in the om book which is not on the cd - i threw mine away some months ago.

  anyone have this info?

  The reason they changed it to Spirit filled ORGANIZATION is because they were getting sued-The folks that got baptized into the FATHER,SON,& HOLY SPIRIT were winning the suits.So now you cant sue because you knew when you went into the BORG what they required of you. so no dice for suing......Your baptized into a cult
